Path of Exile

I've never played this game before. Downloading it right now.

Trips decides what my first exile is going to be.

Good choice.

First time playing then? Just a Sunder/Earthquake build or something.

cyclone slayer, thank me later

k. I'm at the character selection screen and I don't see those options available anywhere.

Templar summoner like a good boy

poebuilds.cc

You'll thank me later

Cast on death assassin

>cyclone
this is what i used way back before they added the other episodes

fucking fun shit

Only if you play on hardcore tho

Go for essence drain Shadow

Thanks!

go necromancer

I recommend starting marauder, duelist, or templar because they are strength based which means more HP.

Is energy shield and evasion weak?

Hi.

I'm just now getting back into this game after a 2 year hiatus. Can anyone please give me a run down on what has changed?

Imagine if, instead of pretty much changing the genre completely, Diablo 3 was a refinement of everything that made Diablo 2 good and a massive overhaul and rework of almost everything that made Diablo 2 less than perfect.

Because that's Path of Exile.

sunder multistrike got me through t10 mapping on my 2nd character, shit was nutty

iirc, they nerfed Energy Shield a bit.

if im doing molten strike on a duelist should i be focusing on armor or evasion rating or both

im currently doing a Warchief Totem build, its been pretty fun so far.

Plant totems, watch them kill shit while i loot shit.

Relfect maps do fuck all to me.

It's like Diablo 2 with modern conveniences. Combined with the Sphere Grid from FF10 and the Materia System from FF7.

It's good shit.

They fucked off with the 3-difficulty system and instead added another 6 new fucking acts that revisit earlier areas at a later period of time, seeing how things and people have changed and what new crises they suffer from, as well as taking you down new paths that you didn't go the last time you visited those areas.

Also new skill gems and new support gems.

A fucking PoE thread? how rare

hopefully this thread stays alive for a while
