The only flaws there are the writing and Gooron.

Game wise it's got the obvious flaws of story and horrible localization, plus issues like the MyCastle feature allowing people to beat it on harder difficulties without lowering the difficulty.
Otherwise it's completely taken over the community to the point where discussion of other games somehow always ends up discussing it, which is somewhat irritating.

Nothing really, but it takes away from the purported difficulty when there's an option always there to instantly discard it while saying you beat it on the hardest one. I'm not "policiing" the game so I have no clue why you'd say let people play the way they like. It's akin to the no exp share argument from Pokemon.

To be entirely honest, I'm not sure the royals would have bought "your dad's not your dad" unless they saw it in person. Showing the orb or taking them to Valla would have only damaged the trust between the Royals and Azura/Corrin.

This. All they had to do was make the reason Nohr needed to invade because of resources and the war itself got Garon possessed instead of him starting a war due to his possession. Also they needed to call Hoshido out for their problems more in both routes. Also the art style like mentioned

All of them except Leo are terrible and retarded. Camilla and Hinoka are the worst girls in the entire series, Camilla is nothing but fetish bait with a personality that's only about wanting to fuck Corrin, and Hinoka is flat as a board in both looks and personality. They're just there to please fetishes and not add to the story or actual game in anyway. You make make fetishized characters and still have them be good characters, but Camilla and Hinoka are both far, FAR from that.

All of the royals were suck fucking trash, except for Leo, only because he's the only royal that shows a semblance of competence. Even then he's still one of the worst royals in the series.

If I were Leo I would be sucking the dick of how Corrin is such a great lord because that's the only fucking purpose of the lords in Fates, to suck your fucking dick and make Corrin look like the absolutely perfect, unflawed character that he is. Most of the royals should've been removed along with Corrin and Azura, and the game should've just had a simpler story with Leo or Xander on the Conquest side and Takumi or Lobsterman on the birthright side.

Never beat BR because it put me to fucking sleep. I also didn't say Leo was a good character, he's still fucking trash. Just slightly more competent then all of the other royals.

The writing is Cliché, the characters are tropes.

Hoshido does a ton of bad shit that never gets called out in-universe because the writers were too busy trying to make you feel guilty for siding with Nohr.

2nd half isn't nearly as strong as the first. I find that most the maps from 17 onwards while still really good all have some sort of flaw or annoyance to them.
