After playing it for about 40h I can safely say that Monhun is a game for autistic people.
Only them could accept doing repetitive task for hundreds of hours in the same boring repetitives maps only to craft better wep and armor.

There's no story, no level design, no great discovery or adventure. It's like a debilitating dark souls for kids on the spectrum. There's even dragons and dinos in it everywhere.

All weapons were insane in World in the beta, but it's only low rank with fairly docile monsters.

Charged blade could just charge vials and throw the hyperburst out and rinse repeat, switch axe could load a second vial and go HAM and basically instagib a monster. fucking someone posted a video of using the light bowguns melee attack and killing the mudfish, with nothing but slapping it in the face.

I have a sneaking feeling the beta was tuned to sucker in many normies and some real MH challenge will rear it's head shortly.

that's why it's trash, it's a million armor skills rolled into something that lasts for a minute and a half that only has a 6 minute cooldown

Rocksteady is absurdly overpowered and that's why it's actually trash that should be removed from the game.
