I was using Steam Link at my brother's, and I decided to pop this one in again after a while. Right when I came back home, I reinstalled it because it was still so goddamn fun. It's just so fast, and there's so much you're do at any moment - you're holding a drift, you're tricking off of ramps, you're synchronizing your boosts, you're going for shortcuts, you're defending yourself against the items coming at you. You always know who around you has an item, and the items feel fair to go up against. Swarm is an ingenious blue shell replacement.

Sega's released the Metal Sonic and Ryo Hazuki DLC for free now, if anyone here doesn't know that yet.

I think they had handed over the console builds to SEGA when those were finished, meanwhile they still had the PC build due to needing to fix bugs and stuff.

I have something like 50 hours in this fucking game, most of it on single player (got all the stars and beat all but 2-3 dev-ghosts). I guess the multiplayer is just dead since I cant seem to ever find anyone.

One of the most stale Nintendo franchises and that is saying something. MK was never good, the first good Kart racing game was Donkey Kong racing. The Kart racing genre was perfected by CTR, killed by the countless shitty MK games and then ressurected in an even stronger form with Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed. Mario Kart is a dogshit game series that overstayed its welcome since the first game, now fuck off and return your taste back to the trash where it belongs.

There's no way to have a passworded server, so I just started a Lucky Dip Matchmaking lobby on the PC version. I'll sit here for a little while. GET IN HERE
