They turned it into an offline MMO.
>tfw you only now spot the dragon in the image.
Am I mentally challenged, wtf?! I've seen the boxart countless times and I only see it now.
Bioware can't make open world and their writers are braindead unfunny cunts
RIDE
Lore and mythos were traded for trannys and butt-play
no cute waifus, too many gay shit.
did you know there are humans in the wings of the dragon in the DA2 boxart? I sure as shit didn't.
WTF?!
>Too much gay shit
>Shitty cutscene animations
>Can't wife the hot black chick
>Best lips on worst face and she's an unbearable, literal, retard
>No sex scene with Josephine
Apart from that I really enjoyed the game. But I picked up the GOTY edition for £20 so I got a ton of content for pretty cheap.
Yeah, you're mentally challenged.
How did you manage to enjoy combat, it was awful
It was basically a single player mmo.
I'm just pissed you couldn't romance Harding
>unbearable, literal, retard
Which one?
I played a greatsword warrior and it was pretty fun bull charging and whirlwinding everything.
Sera
the snake oil salesman got his oil all over the characters while working on the game
DA:I threads are just bait to get people shitpost about sjws, gays and whatnot, aren't they?
They made Dorian a romance option and then made his subplot and ending with Iron Bull a million times better than with the Inquisitor.
>boring companions
>choices dont matter
>crap last boss
i enjoyed the enviroments though big step up from da2
You can do that anywhere. DA threads usually devolve into shitting on DAI but I've seen some good threads talking about DAO.
So the new best way to play is to have Dorian and Bull romance, keep the Chargers alive, and romance Solas. Who should be Divine?
I actually didn't see that.
I don't even care about the politics and bad writing. The very core of the game itself, the combat, was fucking atrocious. Even the most basic enemies are just damage sponges and take way too long to kill. The character progression was boring and shallow. The actual combat was just button mashing. The only thing that wasn't shit was the way tanking worked, that was kind of cool. Other than that it was a huge turnoff. I couldn't even get far enough for the social justice to kick in.
Yeah there was a big thread at release from people trying to figure out what the shapes were. Like what the characters looked like.
>Who should be Divine?
Vivienne. Mages have do shitty conditions, but pretty much every interaction with them proves they're a danger to both others and themselves.
They need better circles and caretakers, not to run around like a bunch of hippies.
I think what I really hated the most about this game was the shitfest that was the romance. Especially with Josephine. Do you remember that sidequest of hers, with that other suitor going after you? And how suddenly, your char acts like they're afraid of him or can't handle him properly? You, who by that point, have killed Fade-spawn shits and otherworldy abominations and fucking dragons, afraid of some literal who and you need your love interest to save you or stop the conflict?
Holy fucking hell, I absolutely hate railroading, I hate these shitty scenes where you're just forced to be an observer, where the game completely ignores your progress through the game as a character, your powers and everything else, to push its shitty writing.
Dragon Age. It's a mediocre series that naturally just got worse from there because Bioware is terrible and EA is worse.
Same but the sjw shit was just the cherry on top of the garbage systems like the war table and mmo quests. Literally World of warcraft garrisons.
I thought the game was okay. It kept my attention through the entire playthrough. Million times better than DA2. The intro was good, the siege was good, the ball was good.
The game's largest sin was the checklist of things to do. It felt like you were wandering around ticking off boxes like in an MMO while the villain fucked around somewhere. The game tried to play it as if you were gradually amassing power but couldn't maintain that sense of tension about what you were opposing. Mass Effect at least gave the player specific reasons to be somewhere and doing things.
I enjoyed it, so nothing went wrong imo.
Underrated post
I like the game. got about 70 hours in it and im not even halfway through the main story
but the combat gets really repetitive after a while, i hope they fix that in 4
My sister played it 3 times and seems to love it, but I try and play it and it just feels like a dead, empty world. The graphics are gorgeous but everything feels like it's covered in a layer of plastic. I even tried reading the story to quest and they bore me. Does it get better in late game because the starting location is extremely generic.
This is objective truth
>wanted to play as Qunari since forever
>DA:I finally lets you do so
>weapons don't scale with the race's size and you basically only get one outfit compared to the other races who get multiple exclusive ones
Bioware is so goddamned lazy. It's so obvious they hamfisted in playable Qunari at the last second because there's no attention to the details here.
Was I the only one that actually really enjoyed Inquisition? The only thing I disliked was the amount of bugs when it first first released, that took a long time to fix, but besides that I didn't really have an complaints. I enjoyed the combat and most of the systems, characters were enjoyable as well. Dorian was great.
The Bad:
-Tedious exploration
-Bloated features, too many boring features to pay attention too, ex: crafting materials, schematics, collectables, quarries and logging points, agents, etc...
-Very easy to waste reputation points on your first time abd theres no way to respec it.
-BULLSHIT BANTER SYSTEM, if you dont know about the 15 timer you will always reset it without knowing and get almost no banter for the entire game.
The Good:
-Main quest is pretty cool for the most part
-Overall good squad, problably you will hate a couple ones, which is good because you dont feel compelled to the 'nice guy' who gets along with everyone.
-Dragon fights.
Mixed:
-Main bad guy is badass but fails at everything, which is silly.
-True ending locked behind DLC, but since the full edtion of this game is out for a long time already, you can get it cheap in a sale.
oh my fucking god, elaborate on the 15 timer thing, because my party never has any banter
