Does DeS run at 100% for the near-entirety of the game on RPCS3 yet?

Anyone had any luck emulating this? I've got it nearly playable on an r5 1600 but it still gets a bit slower than I'd like from time to time and the occasional minor slowdown can cause the background audio to loop.

There's a save editor, you can set the tendency to w/e you want.

Most platinum guides encourage going offline anyway so you can control world tendacy easier. Platinumed it this morning and I really don’t think being online made much of a difference

just get pure white, do the white event and then kill yourself in human form about 8 times

then you can get back to pure white by kill the unique named red phantom in the world and then finding and kill the primordial demon in the world WITHOUT going back to the nexus, otherwise it will disappear because it only shows up at pure black, killing the red puts you above pure black and the tendency doesn’t update until you leave the world

Then get off your phone and try it when you get on your pc you fucking mongrel

it's alright when the other games defend themselves this way, but for DeS it's kinda sad

It is 100% possible to platinum the game offline.
What I recommend is to go for Pure White World Tendency events first by playing in Soul Form and suicide in the Nexus after each boss. Then once you've gotten everything, duplicate/buy Stone of Ephemeral Eyes and suicide, resurrect, suicide (repeat) to drop the to Pure Black World Tendency to get the events. If necessary to return the world to Neutral, kill a Primeval Demon.

Does the character tendency matter? Are there certain rings only available as with black character tendency in a white tendency world?

Also, I tried playing it (while online) about two weeks ago and everything was chugging hardcore. Frames were dropping, and the catapults on the bridge in 1-1 wouldn't load and even the fog gate that led to Gold Knight Man was gone. My PS3 loads everything else just fine and no other games did it, and my disc is immaculate. Will disconnecting from the online (or waiting til Servers are shut down) fix this?

Character tendency gets you two rings you need. On one playtheiugh I suggest getting the black world tendency first because killing the black phantom, primeval demon and then a second boss takes you back to White tendency again. Either way, every time you kill a tendency specific black phantom you go a step towards pure white. There are only 5 so if you kill an npc and go back a step you’re buggered without online. Once you’re at pure white you speak to the monumental and get the friend ring. Getting pure black character tendency is easy because you just kill the vendors in each world (there’s also 5). Mesphopheles appears and gets you to assassinate a few of the key characters for the Foe Ring. So this is obviously best for near end game.

youre wrong, demons souls has the most legitimate one hit kills in the series especially in soul form which is the majority of your playtime unless you want to risk fucking the tendency. Im currently on my third playthrough and I figured Id finally actually try to learn dragon god so that I wont take a single hit and I think I figured out the fight better than the majority of the people trying to just tank and rush through it.
