I think it has the best post-game and progression systems than any other games in the genre. Unfortunately the setting makes me not want to invest a large amount of time into it. Not only is New York inherently not as exciting as going to another planet in Destiny or Warframe, but it's also frustrating to have the story in perpetual gridlock. You're meant to be "taking the streets back" but no real progress is ever actually made. You are forever fighting criminal factions in a mostly abandoned Manhattan for the game's premise to keep existing.
Loot is boring as shit too. In Destiny I can earn "the Claws of Ahamkara". In the Division I can earn a denim jacket. You can see why that's not as compelling right?
Basically I want Destiny's universe tied with Division's progression systems and end-game

Turn based RPG where your turn happens in real time and is about building up a combo to pull off special attacks. Every character has their own attack animations and special attacks and special attacks can be chained together for massive damage output.
Aside from the 3D world map the game is a sidescrolling dungeon crawler with fun dungeons and combat. In between dungeons you get short story segments where you recruit a new character. I'd call this a gameplay focused game with the story bits just helping to break things up.
As somebody who is usually impatient with JRPGs I had a lot of fun with this one and would definitely recommend it. If you're looking to get the true ending I'd recommend consulting a guide. I would also play on hard mode for the content gated behind it.

It gets real samey if you want to completely clear out the influence in an area. Clearing out influence involves minefields, one of the worst design decisions I've seen in a while. And the story goes to shit at the end. Even considering it's mad max they could have done a better job
