You're suppose to listen and feel for that satisfying click when it's in place. It's not held on by magnets, user. Incase you were wondering, the big X button on the front of the controller turns the console on. You use the face buttons and joysticks/D-pad to control your character/vehicle.

Right, it is in place. The controller build quality is just shit, and the battery pack doesn't seat well.

I've had an Xbone ever since a non-Kinect version got released, and a battery pack since shortly after that, and this has never happened to me. What the fuck.

Nah, aside from the Dpad the X1 controller is worse. The LB/RB buttons suck dick. 360 also feels better with the proper hand positions.

Remember, if you're using your pointer fingers for both the shoulder buttons and the triggers, you're doing it wrong. Your middle fingers belong on the triggers.

Unless you're on 8 or 10 that shit is fucked, it either just dosn't work or in my case the controller flat out just stops registering and no amount of "fixes" will ever bring it back to life. 360 pad is so "just werks" tier that even knock offs are legit, currently using one I paid £15 and I can barely notice the difference.

No I don't have issues with the 360 pads but I've got through 3 bone pads, all had the same issue of deleting themselves from existence and I'm fucking certain it's because of that wire. If they made a wired pad I doubt the issue would return.
