It was obvious that it was biased towards Kirby, considering how the Halberd is a big part of the plot and how Kirby is the one who defeats it in Still, I want something similar for Smash 5, plus a melee-like adventure mode and a new smash run

Brawl uses only 6.75GB of a dual-layer 9GB DVD. Space wasn't the problem.

Dedede has always jumped back and forth from being the main villain to attempting to stop a greater threat, it just makes sense for him to have a plan to stop Tabuu

Watching it online 10 years after the fact isn’t an issue, nor should it be an issue to watch it online at all. Sakurai is a genius in a lot of ways but a complete madman in others.

I think that was an excuse. The budget for Smash 4 was for two games, and they rather have had the CGI saved to show off the newcomers.

He literally stopped a Final Fantasy writer from writing a lighthearted plot where everyone's in a bus on the way to the stadium to make SSE in its current state

Aside from Dark Pit I at least don’t think there’s much roster favoritism. Pit, Palutena, Kirby, Meta Knight, and King Dedede are good roster picks.

Doc Louis always commented on the boxers, there’d be jokes yes, about chocolate too, but he had tips and anecdotes about the opponent.

Doc Louis provided very little information on your opponents. Star Fox and Kid Icarus are closer to the codec calls.

You can't have conversations with silent protagonists. I'm not defending the overall quality of the Palutena guidances but they are definitely more engaging than quips about chocolate bars and Club Nintendo. Doc gives advice between rounds which doesn't exist in Smash. I think he would be fine if he had character dependent quips occasionally but I don't think the Doc could carry an entire thing by himself.

It's pretty much just his character at this point. Every fuckin' game, he's going around seeming like some kind of jerkass, but in the end, it turns out he was actually just tryin' to be a bro the whole time.

The commentaries are reliant on banter between the characters, which doesn't work as well with Mac being a silent protagonist.
Maybe they could have had some of the other boxers come in, but Kid Icarus was the more apparent and recent choice.

Just having Doc pull out some random quip about one of Mac's Opponents when taunting like how he occasionally chimes in to begin with would be good enough in which case.

Brawl is my favourite and best smash bros. in my opinion as a video game.

I loved subspace emissary and loved the trophy mechanic of trying to capture enemies and bosses. I loved the crazy story and wish they did another one in a future title. Smash 4 was a real letdown for single player.

Not sure what happened. He had the chance to add King Dedede in both 64 and Melee and he refused for both. Then he went fucking crazy between Melee and Brawl. As evidenced by the rest of Brawl and Smash 4.

Not really. Mario is still top dog. He has more characters (if counting subseries Yoshi, DK, and Wario) and way more stages than the next 2 or 3 biggest series. If you look at how much overall stuff he gets when compared to Zelda and Pokemon you'll understand.

By the time i got my hands on Brawl I hand't played Melee in years, for a solid 8-10 months I thought it was the greatest shit ever. I remember being one of those fags that didn't think tripping was a problem because it never decided the outcome of my matches.
But hype wears off and then you play Melee again and Brawl+ mods come out and it becomes clearer.
