Least favorite class to fight against?

least favorite class to fight against?

Soldier

If they have even halfway decent aim, there's no counterplay.

Demoman because his insults cut deepest

Pyro

Idk how they changed him but now it seems he kills your in like 1 second even when playing a 175 HP class.

for the most part i agree but a decent sniper is better at long range and a decent heavy is better at close range

I main scout so engy or another (good) scout

Sniper. Nothing worse than being immediately killed from an outside variable you didn't think of that is half-way across the map.

sniper
anyone who says anything else is wrong

kamikaze pyros

right now, post flamethrower particles change pyro

Snipers ruin every fps

If Sniper was removed from the game, what ill would come of it?

more amby spies

I play as a vaccinator soldier pair, it's not that pyros are a huge threat, it can just be annoying to fight several of time if all they're doing is airblast spamming.

All classes since 90% of the time I somehow land myself into a situation which the said classes were designed to be in.

Inarguably Pyro and anyone that denies this is a W+M1 shitter trying to defend his new crutch.

sniper
also least fun class to play with. personal glory hogs that just want to get sick MLG kills by sitting in one spot and clicking while everyone else does everything that requires, you know, skill and stuff.

alt: spies that focus on killstreaks and not utility/priority targets. good job camping spawn faggots, it accomplished less than nothing but at least you have a leet 3:1 K:D

The whole shaking the mouse while w+m1 new meta for flamethrowers is so retarded.

realistically, engineers and heavies would be punished a lot less often, there would be one less tool for medic picks, etc etc
not a huge problem in pubs, though
also a shitload of asshurt """sniper mains"""

Sniper by a wide margin

if the W+M1 players are shitters what does it make the people who keep dying to it and complaining about it?

Sniper.
t. heavy main

Sniper.
There's no realistic way to counter a good Sniper aside from a better Sniper.

In casual play, Soldier and Pyro.

With the most bare minimum FPS skills Soldier is very tough to counter with anything besides Pyro. His damage output is ludicrous and his healthpool makes him win a straight-up fight with any other class except Heavy, and even then the odds are in the Soldier's favor. Pyro requires only moderate situation awareness, IE not chasing a fleeing enemy and letting all his allies shoot you, but after the recent (and terrible) update if even a particle of fire touches you you're losing 1/4 of your health, and in half a second Pyro can take down any 175hp class. Given that his fire boxes still multiply and still bypass players nothing is worse than speedy and tanky Gonzales killing your entire team in under two seconds because they're in a hallway.

In competitive play, Scout and Sniper.

Granted, Soldier and Demo are incredibly annoying and borderline overpowered (there's a reason 75% of comp players main those two classes), a very good Sniper or Scout can actually take them out. High-tier Scouts with aimbot accuracy can kill anything in a heartbeat and dodge all of your projectiles if they know how to jump (and high-tier Scouts are masters of jumping), and high-tier Snipers can kill around a corner before all of your pixels even render in the open. No amount of stickyspam or rocket jumping will save you from a headshot.

Really, after this latest update and Valve's track record of basing the balance around competitive play, the cracks are starting to burst. When you play 6v6 you realize the classes aren't nearly as balanced as you thought, and Valve's updates have made that true in normal play as well.

Shitters

>see pyro jetpack in
>see him shake mouse for .5 seconds
>Take him out with 2 rockets but he managed to kill 3 people in that brief time
>turn corner into phlog
>insta-melt

New pyro is fucking dumb

>Sup Forums complains about w+m1
>snipers are literally just m1

Itt: scout mains

because it makes any encounter a guaranteed win for the pyro. even though he is an ambush class there should at least be some sort of chance of winning

>have zero map awareness
>die
wooooooow

Sniper

sniper
t. scoutfag

Demoman because all they do is just wait for you to enter a choke point.
Sniper since the only way of countering him is to play spy and be good at it while expecting to stay alive trying to get through the enemy team.
Medic since he always uses his teammates as meat shields while also having random crit galore with the crossbow.
Solider since he was designed to be the the in-between meaning he has no counters while he counters no one, dont expect to win a fight If said person played 200+ hours.
Spy since the only way of countering him is to keep your back against a wall and look back every three seconds while constantly listening.
Pyro since it takes no skill to aim while also being impossible to hit when he has 300 ping
while also being impossible to avoid getting hit by him since the flame particles linger and they have longer range if the internet connection is shit.
Scout since he was designed for 1v1 situations meaning its near impossible to kill one on your own.
Heavy is impossible to counter in close range if he gets the jump on you.
Engineer relies on the skill of his team meaning if you are paired up against a decent enemy team good luck even getting at a medium distance towards him.

not him but the new flamethrower is retarded, if a pyro gets you in flamethrower range, you're dead unless you are a heavy, they should make it so you have to aim to get good damage instead of rewarding spreading like a spastic

The only real fun combat in the game is Soldier vs Soldier MGE.

So many fags in this thread that don't know how to counter sniper
Literally all you have to do is flank them
They are not designed for 1v1s

This but with TF2 classes

While good snipers are annoying as fuck a good scout can give them trouble

is the new pyro an actual dangerous sym/mei?

>Tfw I played as Yoshi back in the day
How am I going to tell my parents?

>flank that will have a minimum of 3 pyros to go through
>sniper likely by an eng anyway

Soldier.

>Turn a corner
>Soldier is already aiming at the ground
>Jump, run, find cover
>Soldier is just shooting at the ground
>Ded.

>Turn corner
>Pyro in your face
What do?

rageswitch to heavy

The New Zealian shooting man is a cunt.
I really used to love TF2 but I couldn't stand to play it anymore, after 6k hours. I ended up selling my entire Steam account and "quitting" vidya only to realize that reality is just a terrible game. I don't even know what to do with my life anymore. Should I get back into TF2? I can't play modern games on my old midrange non-gaming laptop. I just waste away the time between work and college with old singleplayer stuff on sale and [doublespoiler]VNs.[/doublespoiler]

Engineer easily, they're not hard to counter, but they're just annoying and boring.

the annoying part is that it takes way more teamwork to clean a place with many sentries than it is for multiple engineers to cover each other

pyros, at this stage in the game they feel so fucking powerful.

its got to the point where seeing one decent enemy pyro wouldmake playing spy worhtless

what is with this trend after the update, is it trolling

>anons point out how busted pyro is right now
>someone replies "LOL MAP AWARENESS"
>anons ask for an explanation
>only reply is "GIT GUD LOL"

i have a feeling pyromains don't know what map awareness is and think that if people mastered each map backwards and forwards it would save them from the 250 dps flamethrower in the hands of the third fastest class tied for the third highest health

on it.

A good sniper is really unfun to play against. Also weirdly enough, a good Demoknight is really fucking frustrating to play against on some maps.

Spy.
FIX THE FUCKING STAB HITBOX TF2 TEAM YOU SHITTERS, I'M TIRED OF GETTING FACESTABBED GODDAMMIT

TRIGGERED

There's nothing wrong with the hitbox, it's latency compensation. Watch videos of PRO SPIES getting their shit pushed in at LANs.

They're Overwatch fanboys trying TF2 out cuz a friend recommended it.

Just played my second match ever today.
Demo is where it's at.

I hate that pyro just eats you alive if you ever happen to fall into his range since he was changed.

>demo
>overpowered
haha you're joking right?

lol sniper isn't a big deal how TF do y'all keep dying to em?

Pyro needs to be deleted tho. That class LITERALLY takes no skill. People who bitch about sniper are just mad that other people put time and effort to improve and earned that skill

surf

>Demoknight kills you
>Tfw you change to demoman and keep baiting him into charging your stickies

This.

tf2 is shit

Eat shit

Hows this look?

>phlog with new flame mechanics

I felt like such a cunt using this doing the contract

based
demoman is the best class

If you have ever complained about snipers you should stop playing video games forever

>sniper mains are here

Pyro can kill you in half a second from 2 feet away

Sniper can kill you in half a second from 7 billion miles away

I'm so glad they fixed his bottle breaking.

amby is kill

Ambush class nigga.

>t. xXx|sniper-main|xXx

The sniper one is completely wrong.
>who names his weapon with actual names
Almost completely wrong.

Probably engineer. I want to shoot at another human being and not a 200 hp obstacle. Also soldier is the most fun class to fight. Do people not know how to dodge projectiles or something?

this is very outdated

Engineer

>oh I was having alot of fun but now I need to swap back to the direct hit to kill your guns

that doesn't fucking help I play tf2 every fucking day fuck off

battle engie is fun tho

The one that kills me. Well, I guess scouts are a bit more annoying than the others, such a punchable face, such a shitty attitude, you just want to tear his fucking head apart.

Demo, any other answer is strictly wrong.

wat, i think u replied to me by accident

shit it's retarded, nevermind move along.

I would prefer fighting battle engie over jag wrangler rescue ranger engie any day of the week. That shit is aids and will ruin every pub.

Sniper forever.
Or cunt spies that can backstab you from the front because they have 200 ping.

ok then

His damage hasnt changed at all other then afterburn being 25% faster and he does less damage then before the further away you are.
It's just that his flamethrower is consistant and working minus a few new problems.

The main problem with pyro is his flame particles are too large. Seriously they are half a medium size player.
Shrink them greatly and most of pyro's current issuses are sorted.

It depends on what I'm in the mood for.

If I'm a Spy, then Pyros and fellow team-mates who reveal your position.

If I'm a Sniper, it's scouts or enemy Snipers

If I'm a Medic it's my own team

and if I'm a Engineer it's everything.

As a (former) sniper, every class is impossible to play against if they're actually good - even medic. Your sniper rifle is basically useless if they know which areas you're covering.
The trick is to turn your head mid-air against a sniper. Even bodyshots become nigh impossible.
It's pretty amusing to watch supposedly professional overwatch players still not understanding this concept. The sniper rifle simply doesn't have a fast enough firing rate to forgive misses the way that revolvers do.

The Sniper and Scout ones seem like they should be the other way around

I'm sorry guys, I have 2000 on sniper alone...

can you rocket jump?

Yeah, have 650 hours on soldier. I can't ctap consistently though RIP

>His damage hasnt changed at all

Technically it hasn't, you're right. The problem with Pyro and why there's a noticeably massive increase in damage output/why it feels like getting in spitting distance of the Pyro makes you die instantly is because his flame particles are not only big, but they follow his mouse exactly with no delay or spread, the particles stay behind where they go, and they're capable of regging multiple hits against the same target.

If you angle a certain puff right, just a brief tap, you can hit an enemy multiple times as the box goes into him, then rises upward, and incorrectly counts multiple hits. A single puff in this way can deal upwards of 100 damage, afterburn included, because the game thinks you hit the target multiple times.

It's especially noticeable if you hold down M1 and/or fan around/panic button. The Pyro can rapidly sweep around and inflict 250 or so damage a second in a 360-degree arc around himself.

If you've ever faced a critted Phlog pyro and get killed even when he's facing away from you, it's because he puffed in that direction then turned, and his fire particles stayed then rose up, marking 5 or 6 hits on you for an instant 300-ish damage.

you're alright

You a 6s player?

nah, don't play comp. interested tho

Download Dolphin and emulate some good-ass gamecube games

Pyro. They're easy to kill, but I usually burn to death afterward.

Sniper by far. I can say with all honesty that if you even consider picking sniper, I have zero respect for you. Anyone whose most played is sniper could have their steam accounds closed for no reason today and I would not speak out against valve.

Other than that, current pyro rewards unskilled players way too much. You can just flail around for max dps.

>only to realize that reality is just a terrible game. I don't even know what to do with my life anymore.
