Longest play session

Friends, I am curious.
What has been your longest, uniterrupted play session? For myself it was back in the Maplestory and Neopet days.. Each game has at least had me play 10+ hours in a single sitting at least once or twice.

How about for you?

When I don't have any university work or a shift at my job I can easily play for 14 plus hours

20 hours of Persona 3

I think I played Runescape for 24 hours straight with some middle school friends back in 2003. God, those were the days...

24 hours or so of Halo: Reach. I managed to actually lobby up against Bungie on B-day. Didn't win though.

Dunno why I thought my mere 10 hours would've been considered a lot lol

"only" 8 hours a few times. i had to share the pc with a sibling when i was younger so i was only allowed 2 hours at a time, that might have something to do with it. but even now i can only play for a few hours at the most before i just want to do something else.

uninterrupted? i thin about 20ish hours. summer vacation between 8th and 9th grade. woke up one morning at like 10 and turned on modern warfare 2. played until the next morning at like 6 or 7.

i played P4 golden for like 3 days straight just taking normal sleep at night. that isnt a highlight of my life lol.

Probably 12 hours in Smash Wii U.

16 hours of Tales of Symphonia with 2 of my friends.

Runner up is 14 hours of Crystal Chronicles with the same 2 friends.

I miss those days.

Destroy All Humans and then Forza 1 on my Modded Xbox. It was my christmas gift instead of a 360 (thank god) and I played that fucker for 24 hours straight. My dad told me to get off because he wanted to watch tv, otherwise I might have kept going.

First time playing civ5 in a big world, 15 hours

>I managed to actually lobby up against Bungie on B-day.
This makes me sad because that is probably the last time Bungie did something like that. I don't know if they bothered for Destiny.

My most recent was 8 hours of Danganronpa 2. I'm sure i've done equal to or more than that in the past though.

I played the entirety of mgs 1 in one sitting. What a thrill

Back in middle school I went over to my friend's house and we played Brawl for 18 hours straight right after it came out. What a time.

I once played RuneScape the entire fucking day on my dad's laptop sitting on the couch leaning over with the computer on a coffee table
Couldn't stand straight for days because my back was killing me after

~~30 hours in ragnarok back in middle school, parents not in home

When I was playing P3 and 4 I’d play 8 hours per day minimum. I got up to 14 hours I think, that was when I got through December.

About 27 hours because I’d rented a couple games for a day and decided I could 100 percent them both in that time. It was only 27 hours for the game, but probably a good 36 hours total awake because I had to return the game and perform daily functions like shower and eat as well.

Clear Night of Azure in 1 sitting
~ 20 hours I guess

This one time I was playing a final fantasy game during this stupid long level with barely any save points and the power went off and I lost 4 hours of play time, it came back on a minute later and I simply turned on the console and did it all over again, didn't even get mad about it at all
Those games are so fucking hypnotic it's scary

First time I played Oblivion

was my first true Open world RPG, and for the time it looked amazing to someone new to those kind of games. So much to do and I could play however I wanted, it was a whole new world.

I played it all night long and skipped school the next day faking sick. I had to take a break to trick my parents I guess but once they left I was back at it.

Probably played it like 35 hours in the first two days I had it.

Took me over 2 hours to kill The End in MGS3 using only the directional microphone

I don't know. When I was a kid I used to sit in my room and play PS1 and Gameboy games all day. When I was in highschool I would play Halo 3 matchmaking for hours. So I probably had a few long sessions back then. I don't really play games all day like I used to. I wish I could

My friends and I played Roblox for sixteen hours a day for about three days because we had several snow days in a row

MGSV
27 hours
Decided to actually pay attention to the story.
Got up to Skullface's mansion IIRC to get the OP sniper rifle for Quiet
Then stopped.

Probably Ghost Trick. Played it all from start to finish except for the final chapter. Think it was around 20 hours, I got horribly stuck on some parts and refused to look at any walkthroughs.

>was a complete hyper never sleep kid.
>Made my mom take me to cod 4 midnight release (I was a pos)
>proceeded to play for 40 hours straight

Had a couple of weeks in 2002 when Morrowind came out that were the perfect life. World Cup was in Korea that year. I'd get up at like 7am to watch the opening round matches, start Morrowind around noon, play through to about midnight, rinse and repeat. I'll never know this pleasure again.

I wanna say maybe fifteen or sixteen hours straight is the longest I can remember on the original Guild Wars. I used to wake up,play it until I fell asleep at the keyboard, wake back up and keep on playing.

28 hours straight of WoW grinding honor. Feels like a dream now it was so autistic.

14 hours straight.

Dead Rising.

7 Day Survivor achievement on the 360.

That's the longest I've played without turning the console off and doing other stuff before getting back online and wasting more of my day.

What's the point of fucking dying playing video games? Don't you want to live longer to play more video games? Every night you skip sleeping is a week less from your life.

In elementary school I woke up at 5AM for some reason, and instead of going back to bed I played maplestory until about 7PM when I fell asleep at the PC
