It was the true GOTY 2017, any other argument is a shitpost.
Although Celeste is shit.
I had fun too.
I'm patiently waiting for the Switch version.
When the hell is the new dlc coming out, ive been waiting to do a 2nd playthrough forever now and im starting to feel the need to scratch that itch.
How does Ori compare to this?
>My favorite game is [a game released in the last three years]
massive red flag
Bad taste senpai. Combat is anaemic as fuck and the game's attempt at atmosphere falls flat on it's face.
What 2D Metroidvania has better combat?
Atmosphere is great bruv what are you on about
Good, but not as good. Hollow Knight is the best metroidvania ever created.
Rabi Ribi was better.
One of the ugliest games in recent history.
It's definatley in my top 5. Everyones complaints are nitpicks at best.
Might be in my top 5 desu, one of those games that makes you remember what playing a great game feels like
you are 12 years old
>le arbitrary length before a game is legitimate man
Sure thing. See you in another year when you have a new favorite game.
Okay? See you in, 1990?
Has anyone come across a glitch like this? I seemed to have died the moment I first beat the boss, but when I went back the boss had respawned and pic related happened.
Also is it possible to save her?
Also, after the second time I fought the boss, I was no longer able to listen to her dream form, so I missed some dialogue.
I liked ori and the blind forest better.
The only way to save her is not talking to her whenever you meet her previously. Following her story means she always shows up at the Mantis Traitor fight and always jumps in to mutual-kill him no matter how well you're doing in the fight; if you ignore her previously, instead she'll show up in Dirtmouth later and mention taking her travels elsewhere, because she's disappointed nothing in Hollownest could kill her and let her rejoin Nola in death.
I really like it. There's strong atmosphere and fun evolving gameplay. But it has a slow buildup and there were moments I really wish that the devs would cut down the chaff and add more ways to save time on repetition.
A random boss being difficult is all well and good, but we should have access to it in a way that lets us quickly jump back into fighting it, rather than setting up some unnecessary series of obstacles or a long path with respawning precursor enemies that we have to deal with over and over again every time we die and want to take a crack at it again.
Prettier, and it can hit you right in the feels.
Hollow Knight has much better gameplay, though.
