Roblox used to be the fucking shit when the game stayed true to it's block aesthetic and people were making simple fun games rather than gmod rip offs

I played back when I was 12 and had nothing better to do and remember having a blast doing it. It was all fun until my account with like 100+ dollars worth of items disappeared off the face of the earth for no fucking reason.

I was perma banned from Runescape in 2009, and I made a Roblox account then since my cousin had this big "Foxhound" clan.

I was like 14-15 at the time and found it to be pretty entertaining.

I played it because my young cousin played it, but it got tiring after a while because I don't want to explore games or roleplay with kids.

I played back in 2007 when having a few hundred people on a server was impressive. It's mindblowing to me that a Roblox game just passed 1 billion visits.

I used to autistically play this one pirate one where you had to fish and harvest apples to buy a ship then sail to fuck with the enemy port, and a different space one where you flew around between like 8 different planets drive-by deleting people's buildings. Oh, and there was one classic one called Zombie Island or some shit where you sped around on boats saving people.

Roblox always made me kind of feel empty inside when I played it though. The lack of good sound effects or music just made it feel really strange.

I don't live with my little brother and when I came over he showed me his roblox account and it had 1000s of visits. I could only dream of getting a hundred. Lol I miss those little dudes

I still play it sometimes. It has really went to shit, building has improved but everything else is garbage. They removed tix, forums, added 30% tax, boosted prices tennfold on shitty hats, and all the good hats are now recolors of old ones.

I played it when I was a kid, but stopped after my account got perma'd for shitposting on the forums. And me getting banned was good, as it saved my parents cash. Looking back, I regret spending cash on the game. Oh well, though. Life lesson learned.
