>having a PC, PS4 and a Switch is a blessing!
You have no idea how many games I have in my backlog with no end in sight.
It's a fucking curse.
Fuck all your console wars and game crusades. Having it all surely is not the way to go.

You should play said games instead of making threads on Sup Forums.
I wanted to buy a PS4, but my backlog is already too big with Switch that I think I'm gonna wait for PS5.
I have a PS3 btw, so I already have some games I like for PS4, like Persona5.
In any case, Nintendo+Sony= master race.
On PC I play some experimental indie games and things like that, while I prefer to play big titles on consoles.

I also have a PS3 and a Switch. I pirated the shit out of my PS3, it has a good catalog.
Cute feet.
>pirated
But why? Games are dirt cheap on it.
My psp has custom firmware tho, and I use it as emulator for NES, GB, PS, GBA and SNES when it can emulate the game properly.
Finally an OP that isn’t a faggot. Why do console wars exist when backlogs are a thing? Still haven’t even finished the many PS2 gems.
Quick, post your collections to prove you are idort master race and not a pleb mono-platform fanboy
I'm in the same situation. Crawling under a absurde amount of games to finish, I pretty much have around 20 games I want to play and there's a fuckton of release I'm interested with for the next 2-3 months alone
I don't even feel the need to buy new consoles because they're so expensive and there are so many older games I haven't played yet
I only came here to appreciate the cute Yuzuki Yukari.
Okay, bye now!
I agree. Funny thing is I always end up playing more in my 3ds even though I have shit ton of backlog. Currently finishing Bloodborne but then I still have 10+ games to finish after that.
Your backlog wouldn't be so huge if you just sat down and played some vidya. I've found the best way to plow through the backlog is to just pick something and start playing it, and ignoring any other game until it's done or until I feel like dropping it for good. Sprinkle in an online game or two to break up the monotony. Don't look at the whole list as a giant wall, just think "you know, I'm in the mood for [x] genre/tone" and pick a game based on that.
I also find playing games in series helps me move through them faster because I'm warmed up between them. Just don't burn yourself out by playing one series too long without mixing things up.
I grabbed a DS flashcart recently and I've been doing the opposite of the above and focusing on single titles that aren't part of any huge series, and only downloading the ROMs 3-4 at a time and playing through them before getting anything else. Just finished Ghost Trick, it was a great romp. I think I'm going to play TWEWY next, might go with a couple games I haven't heard of but Sup Forums recommended like Infinite Space. Sometimes playing something not on your backlog and that you know nothing about is a great way to mix things up.
Also, I said it above but it's really important that you drop games you sincerely aren't enjoying, if you can't see something changing that would make you enjoy it later on. I've fallen into ruts before where I don't like a game but I don't want to start something else because "you have to make progress on your backlog" and I'd just play nothing instead. You don't have to finish everything, and you'll enjoy video games as a whole more if you let go of something that isn't fun and move to something you like more.
>still have to finish Mario Odyssey
>still have to finsh BOTW
just bought Dragon Quest Builders for Switch
>still have to finish Odin Sphere on PS4
>just bought Tails of Berseria on PC

Not him but hunting down physical copies can be a hassle and I don't really like buying digital games, there are some games I might be mildly interested in but not enough to commit and pay money for. It's wiser to get something for free than to pay for it, and while I can appreciate collectors I'm more interested in just playing the games.
>Trails of Cold Steel 2 releases in 2 days on PC
Shit, that soon? I thought I had more time for the first game. Time to finish that up.
>hunting down physical copies can be a hassle
Where do you live?
I have switch, it is decent. Zelda is definitely the best game for it imo. Would recommend but it's pricey.
Bumfuck nowhere in America. I don't feel like driving 20+ minutes to used game stores hoping they have what I want. If I were a collector that'd easily be worth it, but I don't really have room for a lot of physical video games.
>Zelda is definitely the best game for it imo
I feel like I’m in the minority when I say Zelda isn’t anywhere near the best game on Switch.
not him but yes, you are.
I'm a lifelong zelda fan, and botw is the best installment.
Botw>majora>oracles>other zelda games
I still play shit I pirated back in the 2008 lmao. So many games so little time.
Got over 300 games on my backlog and I only own a PC. I'm not going to buy PS4 or Switch anytime soon.
For me it goes like this
OoT = MM > MC > LA = LttP > OoS & OoA > WW > ALBW > TP > BotW > SS = Zelda 1 = Zelda 2
Guess our tastes are pretty different.
...
>Oracles that high
I may not completely agree with you but you're a man of taste.
Not saying you have bad taste, but SS = Zelda 1 = Zelda 2 is stupid.
Zelda 1 is already better than SS in terms of replay value alone.
I don't see the DS games and FSA there tho.
Oh, almost forgot.
ALBW > AlttP.
Thanks.
I think the oracles really capture what Zelda is about in terms of gameplay, mechanics (I love seeing the same world in different ages or seasons), exploration, dungeons and story.
BotW is a totally new kind of Zelda and I really love it, but the Oracles are the pinnacle of classic Zelda formula, along with MM.
I can really appreciate BotW's nonlinearity and focus on free exploration, it reminded me a lot of the original game in that regard, I just think it lacked in variety. I feel if they reused BotW's engine for a Majora-style sequel that adds a lot more shit, it could easily be my favorite.
>cemu
lol
>if they reused BotW's engine for a Majora-style sequel that adds a lot more shit
That's what I expect.
BotW has a lot of awesome mechanics, the whole world feels interesting to discover and see how things work in different situations.
It is really amazing when I think about the whole effort they put in order to make certain things work.
I didn’t finish any of the DS games and had no friends to play FSA with. Also, I played Zelda 1 too late to enjoy the exploration and Zelda 2 just isn’t my cup of tea at all.
But I already played all the worthwhile Switch games on a hacked WIi U and there isn't a single PS4 exclusive that interests me apart from maybe Bloodborne.
I also don't feel like wasting 300 bucks on a closed-source underpowered gimped laptop.
ZeldaII is shit man, HOWEVER it had a lot of potential.
A remake that fixes the clearly broken level-up mechanics and the punitive shit can be really good.
About FSA, it is fun to play even alone and that's the difference with Tri Force heroes, which is SHIT when played alone and boring when playing with friends.
DS ones are kind of a mixed bag. PH was boring, Spirit Tracks was good imo.
Currently I only have a PC and my backlog is three digits long.
Can't imagine how it'll look like when I finally get a PS4 and a Switch (used, when PS5 and a new Nintendo console is out).
What is this from user?
