Regenerating health so that you don't have to deal with menus and boring inventories just to get back in the game. Or like D44M where you get health orbs by charging in and doing a glory kill which also keeps you out of menus and having to hunt down health packs and other tedious stuff.

Regenerating health is a dumb meme for casual faggots which encourages slow-paced gameplay of hiding in a corner every 30 seconds or so, and makes weaker enemies totally trivial non-threats since they can't make any permanent impact on you
