1 is dogshit, don’t play it.
2 is one of the best games on GBA, it being so damn good is a complete and utter fluke. That kind of quality turnaround is something I have never seen before for a game dev.

Buus Fury > Legacy of Goku II but both are great game.
Pretend LoGI doesn't exist. Its so bad.

I couldn't beat the first game without using the Konami code.

To add, 3 (Buu’s Fury) is just a refinement of 2, but I personally prefer 2 just bc I like that arc of DBZ better. It’s still really good though.
A shame no other webfoot game even comes close.

I mean of course you fucking idiot, its two games in one. One game is literal shit and the other is pretty good. At least you'll be able to play the first and understand why no one unironically likes it.

I have both 2-in-1 packs (LoG 1+2 and Buu’s Fury+GT Transformation) It’s worth it just to see the quality difference alone and there’s no downsides. Go for it.

Buu's Fury is overhyped as fuck, but still an 8/10. 2 is one of the best games on GBA. Like said, 2 has no business being as damn good as it is. It's seriously a massive what the fuck went so right situation. Especially considering there was like a 1 year turnover on 1 to 2. They got their shit together so fast and so well it boggles the mind.

Tried to emulate 1, it has DRM and the patch only works on my phone (no fucking physical buttons)

The 2nd game has some performance hiccups but it is doable.

I have a GBA lying around with ~20h battery life, so why not?

You HAVE to cheese freeza since the fuck does so much damn damage even when your max level.

They should have stick with the auto stat point assignement. It's a chore to pause the game every now and then to add your points.

no better GBA feel than being lvl50 in LoG2, turning super Saiyan and letting rip a kamehameha wave for 30 seconds.

compare it to being lvl1 and the progression is literally the most noticeable in any game I've ever played

the only issues i've ever had with that emulator were a blue screen instead of black with yoshi's island stage transitions, and music desync in mega man battle network 5

I've played 1 when I was a young lad, decided to give 2 na chance a few days ago, finished everything, (even Mr. Satan's ending), very addicting game.
Major improvement over 1 that's for sure.

PPSSPP works near flawlessly though and has for years now
