I don't think DBFZ or any other game that's not SFV is getting ESPN time. It's a deal between ESPN, Evo and Capcom.

Its about what ESPN wants mostly and what will bring the numbers. I think DBFZ is going to be 2nd most watched behind SFV and ahead of Tekken7.

EVO 2016 SF5 was on ESPN2, EVO 2017 SF5 and SSB4 were on ESPNU and Disney XD. Injustice 2 has also been on ESPN2 and TBS for other events. As far as I know the broadcasts did pretty well so they'll probably keep doing it.
