Beat everything including making all the weapons and armour I wanted to make.
It's a great game, but I just ran out of content.
Can't really complain though, I got about 130 hours of enjoyment out of it which is way higher than most games, also free dlc on the way.

Because I'm at work and its chest day at the gym later today too. Will play as soon as I get home, trying to main the Switch Axe after getting tired of the LS, wrecked the red doggo's ass with it yesterday, is it worth it farming for his armor?

It's just not that great, or perhaps just incredibly slow to start.

That, and my xbone died because microsoft can't make hardware.
I'm getting that fucker repaired but fuck Microsoft. I've literally never had a problem with ANY Nintendo console and I bought a YLOD ps3 to try and fix and fucked that up, but my xbox 360 RROD'd, the controllers fall apart and they gouge the shit out of you with goddamn AA battery packs or ridiculously overpriced play-charge kits. Fuck you microsoft.

The alternative is playing on ps4 with that controller. It's not as bad as the ds3, but easily the worst of the big 3

I own all 3 and while I regret the xbone the most because 343 literally shit in our mouths with halo MCC and 5, the ps4 is really not that far behind. Mine is currently sitting in a box from when I moved and has been collecting dust for about a year at least now. Also a very disappointing console.

I've played a lot of monster hunter but fuck me that was the best egg fetch quest ever.

No G-rank, less monsters overall, no village-guild separation for filler no billion waste of time low rank quests. Generally lot less quests and push towards expeditions and investigations, which I don't personally like.

I just killed the Rathian. Didn't want to bother playing tag with it.

are all dragons basic (melee) attacks considered dragon? or should i just up my regular defense instead?

So I just hit hr32 and no new quests are showing up. Am supposed to just spam already completed quests to unlock more tempered monsters, or am I missing something?

lol, the gameplay at it’s core is literally still the same. If anything, the game is more complex than before since there are more hunting and movement options than before.

I had hoped that would be an option but the blue sharpness on nergis dual blades are good enough in conjunction with the other stuff to mean that even with white sharpness the damage output would be considerably lower. A shame since even crit eye isn't worth it since weakness exploit is so good.

Even with less content I'd say it's worth it. I'm not the biggest advocate on the "cost to hours" comparison, but so far game has given me easy 70 hours and I can see it spread of 100+, while it's not 200+ hours before G-rank that I got out of 4U, but it's still more than enough to justify it's cost.

Feels like such a long time ago, but you need to do Dual Tempered Bazel at HR30? and then at HR50 the next quests unlock, keep an eye out for sidequests from people in town hubs too which are linked to Elder Dragon kills.

So, I got the mission where I need to track down elder dragons, im in the fores t n ow and been here like couple hours already. I cant find anymore track i ng marks, do they r espawn or what? I feel like Im missing one or two tracks to fill the gauge

Beat it with all quests besides the HR100 one done at around 120 hours, got full augmented gear, decently fun but way too easy for a monster hunter game even as a high rank game and too short, not really a big fan of the casualization changes either

you can get them from melting but keep in mind that you should only melt after you did a new quest.

That part of the game is so pointless, the tracks are usually in the same spots everytime. You could always just carry on with random quests as your HR will increase in the background regardless.

yeah so go to another map to find clues on another one then go back, they need to respawn but im not 100% sure if you have to load another map or not. thats why i say to switch anyways.

Normal bouncing, running and slapping should not be issue, those don't do that heavy damage, so you can just heal through it if nothing else.
His problem moves are divebomb and the big swipe.
For divebomb you just need learn to prepare for superman dive as soon as he roars with full spikes.
And the big swipe on it's own, is not a big deal, but you need to learn to stay on ground as the followup move for that will kill you if you try to get up.

i suggest using a lance and the guard necklace level 2 with uragaan armor, will get you to guard 4 so youll be able to block all his shit.
