I hacked in Combat Arms, my friends did it and I guess because it made the game funnier

I have a few QoL mods for Payday 2 like WolfHud (mostly in-game stat tracking), easy reconnect to lobby, functional numpad enter, the like.

But I see a lot of people running Silent Assassin and Pirate Perfection (a trainer).
Silent Assassin was "officially" deemed a cheat by OK, but I'm on the fence about it.
But PP is far worse. I saw a level 64 with like maybe 50 hours played with it. Asked what reason could be possibly have to need it, openly criticized it and never got a response.

I'm not seeking a justification or to seem morally superior, I just want to know the motivation instead of just getting good.

I cheated in the Zenonia games to get unlimited premium currency but that's it I think.

I had a soft modded Xbox and used to cheat in Halo 2 for a bit. They had the ban system down to where your account would be flagged the moment you logged into Xbox live, but you wouldn’t get banned until you got off of the game. It was fun for a while, but one with the mods had to be host to get the most out of it and my connection sucked. Someone else would have to bridge my connection to force host in competitive play and it was just a laggy mess. Even in custom games I couldn’t have more than 2 extra people in the lobby.

that's a funny image, reminds me of this

When I was like 12 I looked up hacks for an old MMO and got screamer'd for the first time.

I used some hearthstone bot to farm gold for packs to see if it's even possible with intense grinding to have any chance with average luck in these packs
You don't
not even the slightest chance to get to the top

Dying in any game is nothing but frustrating, getting close to death isn't exciting or tense, it just pisses me off. Death breaks the flow of the game. I can't fully enjoy a game when I'm always thinking about dying. Infinite health every day.

I hacked in Gunz and once in CS1.6 but other than that no.

i used the cheats in the second half of half life 1

I cheat in Dark Souls. That invincible untouchable dancing man with the sword that can hit you two maps away? That's me :^)

More

Shit p2w game deserves to be hacked

...

Used a trainer to run the entirety of NFS Carbon with the SLR.

I was 12.

In the VN Muv-Luv: Altered Fable there is a volleyball minigame that is so fucking annoying that the people who translated it also included a guide to use cheatengine to cheat at the minigame.
That's the only time I've ever used an external tool to cheat in a videogame.

Used blatant aimbot in pirated COD4 on cracked servers. It was funy
Used a map hack called Rusty Navigator for old Rust a few years ago. It just showed your position on the map so you didn't get lost but pretty sure it's considered cheating

I cheated on san andreas multiplayer, no aimbot or wallhacks but flying cars and vehicle spawning in general

Modded controller for COD4 and MW2 did it for the luls and to show off to my friends that my controller was custom

I always cheat in single player games but never in multi player ones. That's why I usually steer clear on MP.

the fishing minigame in stardew valley

i did not like the minigame and i was exceedingly shit at it

what did you do?

BEEEEEEEEEEEEEGONE THOT

That is so cute. Did he get the ban overturned?

Cheated in GTAV Multiplayer. Got detected and banned pretty fast though.

literally never

you all disgust me

Depends on what you mean by cheating.

I never hack or use external editors in multi

I’ll exploit every bug I find though

I used a trainer in Nioh and MGSV to avoid the damn grind. There is no security in either game at all.
I've save state scummed in some emulator games with bad save points.
I've used the console in skyrim and oblivion to circumvent bugs and a few times to watch the world burn.
I used a bot I purchased during vanilla WoW as grinding became too tedious, never got caught.
I used action replay to unlock all the pilots, machines and levels in f-zero GX as the game was simply too hard for 13 year old me.
I used cheat codes all the time in games like wolfenstein 3D, wario land 1 and age of mythology as I was a little stupid shit.
I manipulated the seeds in civilization IV so I wouldn't lose to 90% chance to win battles.
I got some of my TF2 achievements by making a local server and manipulating the bots.
I used the missingno glitch in pokemon to get 99 rare candy, in fact I was the one who discovered it in my school, so I was a big deal back then.

lol

I used cheat engine in Dark Souls because I couldn't be bothered grinding for the Chaneller's Trident.

i got a fake celebi traded to my gen 4 game just so i could catch them all. i've regretted it ever since. i have now since gotten legit celebi in gen 2, 3 and 6.
>yes. i even bought the japanese bonus disc for colosseum.

Save scum all the time.
Used a trainer in MGSV to avoid grinding for materials/weapons.
Used LMAOBox on an alt account in TF2 for many years and sent the items from that to my main. Also used a custom server and bots to get the achievements before SAM was a thing.

Do you guys have suggestion for a MGS5 trainer? I kinda want to play the story but not grind in that empty open world

You don't need like 95% of the stuff there is to complete the story.

Go with mrantifun or whatever he is called. I haven't played MGSV for like a year though. The grind you want to avoid are the last stage of your FOB upgrade and some of the technologies. To be honest those unlocks are rather OP for singleplayer so there is no need for a trainer for most of the game.

what about all the filler missions about capturing soldiers and resources? Is there a way to make them quicker/optional?

Don't do them if you don't want to. There is no need to do most of them.

That reminds me of that one tripfag that pretended to be his girlfriend on Sup Forums.

Never in a single time.
The closes thing to Cheating I have ever done is Use Nude mods in Warcraft 3

k maybe I'll just reboot the game and try not to get distracted by all the bullshit

Credit card? You got it!

yes
to have an unfair advantage

I inject Pokemon, not even to use for myself, but to trade off to the gibsme's over on /vp/.

I've had that drop several times, I didn't know it was rare, huh. However during my first run I needed to grind for the baller swag sword for like an hour. When I then made a new character the second knight I killed casually dropped a sword. I think the game knows.

All the mandatory/important side ops will be highlighted as golden/yellow. Rest of them is just filler/farming for 100% the game.

I cheated in MGSV and turned my entire mother base personnel into females.

That's just the wolbachia.

did you fugg them

I bumped into the a bunch of times.

that's a constructive use of cheats though

I used to mod Final Fantasy Tactics all the time with my Gameshark, assassin class is the bee's knees.

Lost.

Why do you hang out at reddit? This shit was on r/all.

I'm banned in csgo by overwatch
I didnt actually cheat

MALE TO FEMALE

Scripted in GMod, I was mainly RDMing on DarkRP servers and sandbox nitrado servers.
Raged in CS:GO in a few tournaments, got VACd.
Cheated in TF2, got bored very quickly so I stopped. Didn't get banned for that.

cheated in GTA V online coz fuck the take-two grinding

I used to find public phone numbers, sign up for steam guard with them, then get myself banned in TF2. This would ban every underage faggot and tinfoil hatter that used the public number

Used to hack it Garrys Mod, since I ran a server and due to the high population of hackers, I found it more convenient just to 'out hack' the hacker's. They'd usually just go to a quiet corner of the map and build something once they'd had enough. If they were particularly spergy and persisted then I would just ragdoll them and string 'em up in the spawn area until they left or I felt bad for them. Never needed to kick/ban them though.

what anime is this

When I was a kid I cheated a lot in GTA:VC and Carmageddon II.
Then, when I played San Andreas I challenged myself to complete the game with no cheats. It ended up being more fun than cheating so I stopped doing it.

Underage: the post

nope just have no idea what that is

cheated to the top of the scene in CS:Source, even went to LAN but played legit there (cheated in the online qualifier).

cheated in CSGO too, but the game is so shit it's not even worth paying for the private cheats.

What

nearly lost but this takes the cake.

I often cheat engine to skip grinding I can't be arsed with. If my rpg party members come back and remained the same level as they were before I lost them, or they died right before a boss was killed and it doesn't give them exp, I'll sync their exp to another party member's.

I used a grab bot in Diablo 2 to instantly pick up unique items and runes in multiplayer games, because shared drops among 8 people that you don't know is retarded.

I DONT GET IT

i screenlooked in goldeneye once

never
cheating in video games is wrong proven by the based lord Gaben banning your ass forever from steam if the VAC system caught you running cheat engine in the background.

in CSS i used a texture pack that turned all the common textures into glass, so i basically had "wall hacks".

i used to sit in T spawn in that famous map crackhouse, with an awp, and just awp the CTs through the thin walls while they walked out of spawn lol

Diablo 2 Map Hack for Sorc Tele Farming

Do devs actually put cheat codes in games anymore? I haven't used one in 10 years

Back in 2007 or 2008 I think, cheating in Maplestory was super ultra easy, all you had to do was download some stuff and check which cheats you wanted.
I used it to play with my cousin, we used the cheats to explore high level areas and loot random stuff, and also grind a bit. Got bored of it and stopped using, nothing ever happened.

Lupin The Third

I hate (most) anime, and even I know what this is.

fucking kek'd

Nice reddit repost

Used cheatengine's speedhack in awesomenauts to increase my gamespeed by 2% which makes a huge fucking difference. Made it to top 25 before some autistic motherfucker realized what was up.

I cheated in Dark Souls. Someone duped a ton of boss souls and humanity and dropped it in my game. So I dressed up as that weird merchant and invaded people but I wouldn't attack them, I sent them a message asking if they wanted to trade for certain souls in exchange for humantiy. A few bits of humanity (either consumable or floating since I had the Dark Hand) for a soul. I'd leave after the trade.
It was fun roleplaying an aggressive salesman who just wanted to sell stuff. Felt like I was a telemarketer of the Souls world.

Found it.

Literally the only game I ever used cheats on are Sims

I was 13 aimbotting on CSS zombie server. Never cheated in multiplayer game since.

I used maphack in Diablo 2, but mainly to remove the shadows. For whatever fucking reason, my PC always crashed in some areas with too much shadows. Removing them helped.

Outside of that, nowadays I only use CheatEngine for the speedhack in singleplayer games. Some games would be unplayable without them. UnderRail for example, great game, but goddamnit only being to walk everywhere takes for fucking ever. Oh, I also hacked myself about 1.5bn in GTA Online because fuck Rockstar and their kikecards.

secondhand cringe, jesus christ.

i had actually forgotten about kurokawa. thanks for the chuckles, friend

In Quake 2 as a kid, because I sucked and was dumb, I got called out and banned almost immediately by the community on the server... Never did it again

I cheated in Gunbound because everyone else did and those premium weapons were so fucking pay-to-win it wasn't even funny, the game deserved to die

I go to the VAC section every now and then to have myself a giggle

When I played Doom as a kid I typed in IDDQD and IDKFA sometimes.

Not proud of it. Haven't done it since.

>yfw its actually true and he cant prove it

Why do you even play video games

Sometimes to mess around but never to beat something I can't actually beat or to grief other players.

I cheat on my friends accounts so they get banned. It's funny
>mfw

Still his fault for having shit friends then

account sharing is against the tos anyways.
