Objectively good but made fun of because its the cool thing to do?

Call of Duty

Enjoying their older work far more than their newer installments? Yeah, Call of Duty.

A game in which the lead kills himself?

Pretending to like the old shitty outdated installments more than the polished, superior, objectively better installments because of nostalgia? Definitely Call of Duty.

Any game you can kill yourself

In which a series abandons its old trappings that garnered it much love and popularity, in exchange for a style that no one asked for?
Call of Duty, for sure.

>Make music kino beloved the world over apart from a few kanye loving soyboys
>Riches
>Women
>Life still ends in suicide.
I just want to tear the flesh from my bones

The only "bad" Linkin Park Album is One more Light and even then that has one or two songs I enjoy

But anyway, a third installment people hate for arbitrary reasons that carry on for the rest of the series? No idea.

definitely CoD

>When my time comes
>Forgot the wrong that I've done
>Help me leave behind some reasons to be misses
>And don't resent me, keep on feeling empty
>Keep me in your memories
>Leave out all the rest

Objectively bad but enjoyed by facebookfags and pretended to be enjoyed by the self-thoughtless contrarions in this site

CoD doesn't fit so much, more like Fallout 4

Hey, it had some pretty good songs. Bleed it out, Given Up, What I've Done, Shadow of the Day and the Little Things give you away are all decent in their own ways.

Now if you asked me to do the same with something like Thousand Suns, I can't due to the fact that listening to just individual songs instead of the whole album is a sin against it. Also daily reminder, Infinite's song dropped the day Chester died.

>What's the video game equivalent?
MW2 only. The rest of the COD series is fucking terrible. It needs to stop.

A Thousand Suns and The Hunting Party were pretty bad, user.

>not genuinely enjoying old LP
What kind of faggot are you?

Black Ops was fine. Anyway, this popped up while browsing youtube.

>Objectively bad but enjoyed by facebookfags and pretended to be enjoyed by the self-thoughtless contrarions in this site
But that's definitely CoD, people here still mostly hate Fallout 4

>Now if you asked me to do the same with something like Thousand Suns, I can't due to the fact that listening to just individual songs instead of the whole album is a sin against it.
Funny you say that, cause I feel MtM is the exact opposite. Plenty of individually good tracks, only maybe one or two I don't enjoy. But listening to it front to back, there's just no flow, it doesn't work. Maybe a better track ordering is all it would take, I dunno, but I can never listen to the whole thing.

Linkin Park was pure white alt-right music kino. Only reason the narrative appeared that their music was bad was a forced meme by buttmad leftists.

They sounded like a boy band with drop d riffs, what's so good about it?

>Bleed it out
Not bad guitar is catchy and simple.
>Given Up
Supreme vocals. He went super on that break down.
>What I've Done
Is really good as a motivator.
>Shadow of the Day
Like the gentleness to it.
>Little Things give you away
again guitar was good.
>Messenger.
Perfect.
>Thousand Suns
It is a creative album in its own way.
>Mike Shonda-Post traumatic EP.
It is only 3 songs. But hell of a creative way to help people at the same time.

Hybrid Theory = RE4
Meteora = RE5
Minutes to Midnight = RE6

Eh... I enjoyed Thousand Suns as an album. If you told me to look up individual songs, the only ones I would enjoy is When They Come For Me. I have to listen to it in it's entirety from start to finish to get the full experience. Hunting Party I can see the criticisms, but Rebellion is one of my favourite Linkin Park Songs.

Now step aside for the best song they ever did.
youtube.com/watch?v=jfviFOcnlew

>pure white alt-right music kino
You would stop breathing if this site went down

>They sounded like a boy band with drop d riffs, what's so good about it?
You answered your own question friendo.

>The Hunting Party
It was good but it didn't stick. It was the kind of album where they tried to go back to their roots but they were to far ahead to really drive it in. Good but again not catchy.

People talk about Linkin Park being shit but a line like "It doesn't even matter how hard you try" is far more truthful and resonant than anything a non-white artist has ever written.

>DUDE BIG BLACK COCK IN THE TIGHT WHITE PUSSY AYYYOOO MOTHERFUCKER
So this is what anti-linkin park fags listen to? Fucking kek.

Max Payne 3
Empire Earth: The Art of Conquest
Heroes of Might and Magic: UbiShit

>This.
This guy gets it.

Hmm.... I wonder who could be behind this post?

...

>When They Come For Me
Loved the tribal feel to it.
>Blackout
It's vocals are sick and the technical break down is good.
>Robot Boy
Basically Mass Effect series.
>Cataylst
Did love the way they built it up electronically.

I also hate all of those things so.....

>It was the kind of album where they tried to go back to their roots but they were to far ahead to really drive it in.
Agreed. Their efforts on Living Things to take their newer influences and mix it with their older sound worked great, I thought they were getting back on track with that record.
Then they released THP.

One day, I will make a game with this aesthetic.
youtube.com/watch?v=GgxcvmkPD-I

>Max Payne 3
Nah Max Payne series is like a slow sad piano to Spine shank by Max Payne 3.

Is this to say that RE5 takes what RE4 did, polishes and refines it, and overall just does it better?

Most people don't even remember that is wasn't the band's music itself that was originally made fun of but the people who would use lyrics from the songs to create a super emo/dark persona of themselves online with, specially teens on Deviant Art, you'd make fun of them with "crawling in my skin" to make fun of their mentality not the song or band.
At some point it went from making fun of people being super emo and edgy to an attack on the music they listen to.
That's why every meme that ever leaves it's origins and goes into the wider mainstream always turns to shit, people that never got it use it to be part of the group but use it incorrectly and it's actual meaning is lost and the people using it don't even have any idea what they are speaking.
This is why Sup Forums never used other sites memes, discouraged people from using Sup Forums culture outside of Sup Forums and why memes were abandoned the moment they became popular.
Only idiots and the ignorant never got this.
>you only hate it now because it's popular
>you're just being contrarian
>you are the same as them you are just being elitist
And other brainlet responses.

>What's the video game equivalent?
>second sequel that well-meaningly but ham-fistedly attempts to creatively divert from what made the first two good in the first place

hmmmmmm. Pokemon Ruby, I guess?

I only listened to them because my friends did and I didn't understand English.
Once I realised it was whiny bullshit, I dropped them instantly.
Somebody old enough to remember emos that plagued us in the middle to late 00s? I blame Linkin Park for that.

>Living Things
That album was like a perfect combination of Hybrid Theory and Thousand Suns. They got it nailed to the point.
>Lost In The Echo
Was so hard hitting with lyrics that caused it to flow.
>Lies Greed Misery.
Was that sort of summer single. That was hard hitting but had a good grove to it.
>I'll Be Gone.
God I wished they used this on the Transformers films than Burn It down.Yeah burn it down was good but it didn't have that impact New Divide did on Revenge Of The Fallen.

That was just late 90's/early 2000's culture though, even before Linkin Park got big.

Five nights at freddies

I unironically really like A Thousand Suns

>Is this to say that RE5 takes what RE4 did, polishes and refines it, and overall just does it better?
I think more they were rushing it in a way. Because they wanted maybe to do separate games for each characters. But development and time forced them to do a rush job on RS6. So they could start a fresh story with RE7.

Linkin Park was soymusic for the 2000s.

Living Things had road untraveled which caused some feels when I first heard it.
youtube.com/watch?v=KLgQKiUk7ms

No that was My Chemical Romance.

I do too. It's a great album but it sucks for singles. It HAS to be listened to in a single session

And yet the linkin park demographic of the 00s is exactly who the soyboys are doing everything in their power to exterminate in the current era. Hmmmm.

I do to. I grew on me over time.

Emos didn't listen to Linkin Park. They listened to My Chemical Romance, Him, Fallout Boy, and Deathcab for Cutie.

Linkin Park was for the anime nerds, and dudebros.

underrated

That song was like a ninja. As soon as you heard the beginning. The attack didn't have full impact until the end. Victimized is one of a subtle but heavy as fuck song from that album.

Shadow the Edgelord

>Linkin Park was soymusic for the 2000s.
This just proves you are either to ignorant or young to understand anything.

Nah, white soyboys love black music for how it makes the seem, hip and culturally diverse.
There's nothing more pathetic than a soft, middle class, white guy being into ghetto culture and abandoning their own.
Linking Park is too angry and aggressive for the soys so nice try.

Dude bros are just as cancerous as the types of people who are afraid of everything masculine
Which LP's isn't anyway. They had no instrumental or lyrical substance just Facebook slogans for people to chant their incredibly shallow emotions with

I bought into the trendy memes that Linkin Park was bad and deserving of mockery. Many of us did, but now that "reddit" "linkin park is bad" mindset has revealed its endgame to be the complete genocide of the white male I realized that I had the wool pulled over my eyes, that was the reason my soul felt so empty. But now I realize the error of my ways and my soul feels full. The thing that the common opinion is telling you to hate is actually good. The thing that common opinion is telling you to love is actually bad.

Live your life by this ethos and your soul will be full too.

are you aware that all of LP was leftist? MtM was an anti-bush album. From 'The Little Things Give You Away':
"All you've ever wanted
Was someone to truly look up to you
And six feet under water
I do"

>be on a LAN party
>play a Warcraft 3 TFT costum map
>game music was replaced by a chipmunked "Numb" and "In The End"
Fucking war criminal

>They had no instrumental or lyrical substance
Has never listened to a whole LP album due to attention deficit disorder.

>Linking Park is too angry and aggressive for the soys
It's whiny and babyish
Pantera is way more aggressive and most people who like them would tell you LP is for babies

>Dude bros are just as cancerous as the types of people who are afraid of everything masculine
Chad was always in the right. The shaming of masculinity and the glorification of nerds and "nice guys" was always part of the cultural extermination. Easier to see that now we've progressed to the cucking of the current year.

>dude, but it's not deep man

Music is poor man's poetry. Sound and rhythm comes first. Which Linkin Park was very good at. Pretentious fucks who try to derrive deep meanings from music are fuckwits who are allergic to reading, but still wanna seem intellectual. And this is coming from someone who loves Radiohead.

youtube.com/watch?v=XSyLwAf7Ewk
Mike Shinoda is the man.

This Sup Forumstard "soyboy" insult is getting way overused it is actually makes you look stupid at this point.

Can't you all go back to using "cuck" instead I like that one better.

What about Collision Course?

youtube.com/watch?v=qqC5sdsHLq8
Tell me this isn't nice.

>And this is coming from someone who loves Radiohead.
So how is your chastity going soy boy

A lot of metal is whiny. LP is basically the gateway into metal.

They didn't exist when I was in the 8th class. They started to appear in my 9th and went full blown out of control at the end of the 10th.
Thankfully they disappeared at the end of the 12th class and only posers with something to prove tried to keep this causal subculture alive.

>Listening to this at age 11
>images of fighting islamic hordes on the european battlegrounds of the future running through my head
How right I was.

>calling me a soyboy

My metal collection is for sure larger than your ego.

>Doesn't matter that I suck big black cock because look at all of my tight white pussies lmao

SOY KEK

It's alright, is it an introduction track before going into something else?

It's just Mr Hahn (LP DJ) showing off.

...

>music kino
