So now that the dust has settled what was the best game of 2017?

So now that the dust has settled what was the best game of 2017?

This is how I feel out of the games I've played.

Trails in the Sky the Third

>sonic mania
>amazing

It was mediocre just like every other sonic game.

I'm gonna go with Puyo Puyo Tetris

For me? easily was DoS2

>Genesis style Sonic
>Mediocre
>Genesis style Sonic that manages to figure out a way to twist the formula in such a good way that I want Drop Dash modded into older Sonic games
>That level design
>Mediocre
>That faithful dedication to making it look like a what if Sega Saturn 2D Sonic
>Mediocre
"No."

A handful of questionable bosses isn't enough to make that game not one of the best 2D platformers of the modern age.

fpbp

1) Pyre
2) Breath of the Wild
3) Persona 5
4) Divinity: Original Sin 2
5) Prey
6) Gravity Rush 2
7) Super Mario Odyssey
8) Nier: Automata
9) Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia
10) Everybody's Golf

Shout-Outs: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Wipeout Omega Collection, Splatoon 2, Arms, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Puyo Puyo Tetris, and Samus Returns.

My personal Favorite was XC2.

Followed by Prey and then ... maybe Nier A? Puyo Puyo should be mentioned though

That's not the fucking question here. Pick one, asshole.

> Decent taste, BTW.

Super Mario Odyssey is my goat. Zelda is the one that deserves it tho

>Everybody's Golf

Golf Story was the better golf game.

Overall, BOTW. Personal pick is Pyre though.

>Prey
good choice papi

BotW or Xenoblade 2

>Golf story
That game got way too old for me quickly, I had enough of the little missions and just wanted to play a tournament.

Thats what Mario Golf got right

Hollow Knight or Cuphead.

Golf Story has shit golfing, a fraction of the content, and shittier multiplayer.

Hollow Knight, definitely. Cuphead as a close runner-up.

>ACfag liked Pyre and Zangeki Warp
Maybe you're not so bad after all
