Did you ever bring video games to school?
Did you ever bring video games to school?
I didn't have any video games growing up.
Not much you can do with psx games but get them stolen by niggers, but yes.
Yeah I had to beat up some nigger once who tried to steal my Gameboy
Everyday during Pokemania. Shit was glorious.
In high school we had this experimental economy class where students set up their own economy. You get a set amount of “money” and trade around. After a couple weeks whoever had the most money got the highest grade.
I brought in my PS2 and madden and gouged niggers out of money per game played. I passed the class with an A
>can we have a blog circle jerk i miss the 90s
It was pretty awesome being in a school with no cameras or cavity searches.
>he went to inner city schools
No because I got scared that someone would take it from me.
I remember taking my Yu-Gi-Oh cards once and one of my "friends" almost stole my deck before I caught his ass. Fuck you Rodys
>High School Senior year
>HG/SS Released
>Half the school is playing it
>No one getting chastised for it because fucking everyone is playing it
>Sneak matches in class
>Nerds EV grinding in AP Stats
>Everyone has a fucking pokewalker
It was fucking surreal man I wish I could go back sometimes. Just to make sure it wasn't some sort of weird fever dream.
My "friend"'s name was Sage. Why do all the fake friends have weird names?
Barely.
They're lying scumfucks, it's not even their real name.
I had my Game Boy Color in my backpack to play on the ride to and from school. They were pretty strict about no video games even during lunch and recess, but we very rarely were able to trade Pokemon or have a quick battle if you found just the right corner of the playground
i brought my gameboy and a link cable to school sometimes to play mmbn3 with a friend, i was elecguts style and he killed me in one shot with lance. good times
So that means that video games don't make you a loser because you are still here.
Assault cube and Quake
My PsP once
I met one of my best friends in high school because he was goofing off, playing on his PSP. Brought mine in the next day, we played Star Wars Battlefront and that was that - buds for life.
during the last week of 5th grade I brought spyro and crash to play on the playstation that we had in the classroom (the school gave them out with educational games)
Lol no
Wario ware touched. I became the king of party and got a scratched as shit DS. It was cool but decided never again
i brought my 3ds to schoo when i was 17 once. i had the mindset of "i just wanna play this game really badly and its portable ill just play it on the bus." i got weird looks and one kid asked me if i was playing a DS with a smirk on his face. i never bring my games out in public anymore.
>You get a set amount of “money” and trade around. After a couple weeks whoever had the most money got the highest grade.
It's so obvious what a shit idea that is, I have trouble believing it ever happened.
Sometimes I use my Switch while on the Train because its an hour and a half long ride
Middle school, 2006, during the final day before summer break. I brought my Wii and Brawl to the AV room and since we were all let out early, we had a massive tournament on a projector.
I played DS on the bus for three whole weeks. I had a 45 minute ride in the mornings because, in middle school, they didn't want to hire another driver in my shitty democrat county so I had to wake up an hour earlier and catch the bus with the elementary school kids that rode in my neighborhood.
So I enjoyed the DS on the bus. For almost a month. Then, this one Asian bitch named Emmu (no joking) who was pissed at me for my team beating her in Reading Bowl got on the bus and was like "user is playing video games!" and I was like "yeah? I'm on a bus, not school" and the driver was like "sorry user, technically it is against the rules"
Emmu was like "yeah and I'm gonna tell my mom and she'll call the school" so I never played DS on the bus again.
Jokes on her, though. That same year, in the afternoon, we arrived at her house one day and they were being evicted with all her stuff on the lawn. Still makes me sad to think about that image of her crying with her family while they threw their shit in the grass. Never, ever saw her again.
user was bullied by a fucking girl and he didnt rape her lol
I believe him. There was a similar thing at my high school, though it was an after school club and not an actual class. The investment club used that site Investopedia, and the winner got a cool cash prize (so not a grade) at the end of the term/semester. His story is believable.
>Jokes on her, though. That same year, in the afternoon, we arrived at her house one day and they were being evicted with all her stuff on the lawn.
You didn't cause that so you still lose, cuck.
I brought my Wii for my students to play on the last day after finals. I was stomping them so bad in Brawl I had to suicide all my stocks just to not show my power level. (I used to play competitive.)
I spent last year in High School playing Soccer, playing the newly released MKDS and getting drunk with my friends...then I found this place.
When you get to college, it's really not that big of a deal. In high school, middle school, elementary school, it's terrible, but I feel like college is the one place nobody gives a shit if I break out my portable console or start playing a game on my laptop. Half the time people who do ask me about it are genuinely interested and I end up basically doing a sales pitch for the console/game.
Not that long ago, I was playing a Switch and people kept asking how I liked it. Though it is kind of awkward with Nintendo consoles when your professor sees your Switch or 3DS and says "Oh, I bought one of those for my kids..."
Yes.
I never brought handhelds bought in middle and high school I would bring doom on a flash drive and play during any computer class I could.
It's true. Nobody cares in college.
Some nerdy guys literally bring a CRT television and a Gamecube and just fucking plug up and play Melee in the student center twice a week. I like watching and talking with them. I'd play more often with them if I weren't so terrible at Melee.
Love her or hate her, pic related is extremely accurate.
I graduated HS in 2008 and HG/SS came out in my sophmore year. Pokewalkers were fucking EVERYWHERE on campus, and everyone from the idiot weebs to the greeks had one on their person.
My bro got quake 3 on the school network back in highschool and our based asf personal finance teacher would play with us everyday. some good times man.
Video games can get you a date in college if you know what consoles or games girls might find "cute" but which are still not too awkward for a guy to play in public.
Yes, and the school board decided to ban on game systems during lunch and recess because we needed to get excessive. Cell phones were allowed though
I brought Warcraft 2 to school, shit was great.
*Exercise
Eh, I met my wife playing Totori+ in public.
That was probably because I was one of the few people with a Vita and she played games herself she also likes cute girls
>Grab your Nintendo DS.
>Bring it to your secondary/college. Play Super Mario 64, Mario Party, Mario Kart with my buddies.
>It was amazing.
>Got taught how to program.
>Modify your Nintendo DS.
>Make it better in every single way
>Better Cam, accessible with PCs
>Able to gather files
Few months past
>Everything has WIFI
>Get access to the whole school
>Change passwords for everyone on the staff list
>No lessons for 1 week
>Stupid IT technician is Asian
>Doesn't know how to use a computer
>I was the only one which didn't have a matching IP to other computers/servers and etc.
Few months past, almost done with everything
>Create a personal OS for my DS.
>Friend helped me with modifying my DS by allowing to use mice and keyboard.
>Other friend knew things about building chips and etc
>Builds a custom mini-CPU
>DS turns into a 'hacking' machine which could make college bankrupt.
A few years later:
My DS is the best of the best but useless because it is extremely outdated.
I miss stupid teachers...
You had lunch time and also recess? what?
If I remember right
15 Min recess at 10:30
Hour lunch at 12 (Eat from 12-12:30 then can do whatever from 12:30-1)
I think there might be another recess but I dont remember
School ends at 3:00
What kind of anime bullshit is this
>Bring PSP to school
>It gets stolen one day
it was full of gay furry transformation porn in the images folder
Never knew who knew and it haunted me every day till I was out of there
that's not how logic works.
American school time is rare to me.
Stay salty
Brought my PSP with CFW to school and used a universal remote app to shut off the school announcements. That count?
PSP a few times, I think my ds one time.
Yep, even got DDR added to my schools PE classes.
gameboy w pokemon blue in elementary
psp w NFS most wanted and porn videos in HS
Sounds hilarious as shit
Hope you scarred the nigger
>realise it's actually a gamecube controller in OP pic
>realise kids who were 5 when the gamecube came out can now drink
>12th Grade
>Gay government course where teacher literally has no assignments to give in the last month of the semester
>start bringing my laptop to work on other shit
>friends of mine hanging out there as well
>decide to just play emulators instead
>spend next month playing Street Fighter Alpha 3, Metal Slug, MvC, Smash, etc. on projector in class
fun times my guy
>Period of time in HS whem there was A LOT of downtime
>They install projectors in every classroom
>During Lunch I sneak in my classroom with some niggas and play Sm4sh there
>Tfw Lunch was 30 minutes long
It was nice until my classmates caught on to me doing it and started watching us, to the point school admins had to kick us out and close classrooms.
My Kouhais did the same thing the year after with their PS4, but played Pleb-tier Fifa
I was that kid that always brought videogame magazines.
It mattered because people couldn't just look up their phones to get gaming news still.
Same here. I bought a lot of them and niggers stole some of them.
I still have most though.
Can confirm, will be 21 this year
Brought a Gameboy to trade Pokemans with those who had Game Sharks to complete my Degree in Gold.
Had a similiar system at my primary school. It was called “earn-and learn” and we had “jobs” and paid “rent” for our desks to the teacher. And once a week the two classes doing it would have like a “market” where everyone would sell each other shit. The whole thing was a complete fucking disaster
For some reason we'd have a 10 minute "reading period" at the start of my typing class and I'd bring game informer. I brought multiple, so the guy sitting next to me asked for one so I let him borrow one. He'd stare at the Dead or Alive ad the whole time. It was of Kasumi sitting with her legs wrapped around a tree.
played marathon and eventually UT on the schools network. was pretty cash
Nah, I've been master race only in my whole life
I had a gameboy and pokemon, you bet your ass I did.
I would have traded all my money for a BJ. Fuck the A. I'd get it back next semester.
How big is your wife's penis?
One time i brought my n64 to my last period. It was technically a free period for me but i got tutoring. I played Super Smash Brosh with my teach Mr. CHUN and he beat me while using every single character. He was the first person who consistently beat me let alone with JigglyPuff.
