I rigged mine to have a speaker that continuously plays the Full House theme song.

I worked super hard on this. Swapping the buttons out was TOUGH.

It's honestly my best vidya decision I've made in the past year. I will say some of the stock buttons were a bitch to pop out so watch for that, but otherwise it works like a fucking dream. PC set up might be a hassle, if it doesn't register inputs at first try a different USB port, the only ones that work for me are in the back of my PC, front ports don't cut it.

For me I grew up in arcades so I find it more natural and fun to play fighting games and arcade games using a stick.

Because it FEELS GOOD.
I grew up with arcades and I still go to round 1 every few days and you know what, I'll take buttons I can smash with my hand spread out than some tiny gamepad with mushy buttons.

You're gonna regret that son. It's a cute idea, but they generally look like trash once placed in the clear buttons if it's not a "button" design, like symbols or maybe portraits in the buttons

I have pic related stick. I've customized it and it's been great. Kinda getting back into fighters. What's the best way to get this compatible with PS4 and Xbone? I'd like to keep the functionality of the top row of buttons, if possible.

Made the art. The stick itself is a TE2. Just looked at old Neo Geo arcade cabinets on google and replicated it using Photoshop.

The buttons on the mini are proprietary and don't fit the arcade standard diameter, you can't change them out

Yeah no thanks. I grew up playing Tekken 3 and Street Fighter Alpha with my buddies on a controller.

For me it's because hitting more than 2 buttons or 2 that aren't adjacent to eachother is dumb on pad

Is there way to get the sanwa america style arcade stick in controller form because I can't fucking find it and the closest to it are godamn pandora's box arcades in USB controller mode. the ones with the big red ball joystick and the white player 1 start buttons with the black pedestrian icon on them.

I am so bad at fighting games, let me die, I have been stuck in bronze for what feels like a millenium

Nobody is saying you need to by a stick. In fact, for a lot of modern fighting games pad/keyboard/hitbox is objectively better. They just feel good to play on and is a neat hobby.
