Considering picking this up when it comes out tomorrow for PC because I do love a big open world to explore, but from what I hear it was a bit crap. Looks like the PC release includes all additional content released so far, so to anyone who's played it; is it a coherant/quality game yet? Is the story good/satisfying? Does it still feel like the MGSV of FF games?
Considering picking this up when it comes out tomorrow for PC because I do love a big open world to explore...
It's pretty much another incomplete game like MGSV.
Wait another year as they are still adding more content as they announced a season 2.
No
No
Feels even worse than MGSV
there's another y e a r of dlc coming. if you want to waste 50 on it as it now then go for it, but we all know damn well they'll still make another super royal titanium collection thing with more improvements.
>another year of DLC
Nigger what
I thought they added all the stuff so that the story made sense
what the fuck man
what still needs added for it to feel complete/at least have a coherent story?
No matter what they add the story will never feel satisfatory because the way it's told is incompetent, especially in the first half. We're talking about moments that by all means should've been cutscenes for maximizing emotional impact yet it's just a few lines while you're on the car, a lot of plot developments are just glanced over and when a cutscene does happen it just doesn't feel good
Also most of the story shit that the Royal Edition is adding is for the last chapter so it won't make the journey any better
Still like the game tho
4 more episode things, the first of which is ardyn. you can google up more info.
do not give enix money
MGSV at least has good gameplay to make up for being a shitty game. FFXV has nothing.
I just wanted to explore a big pretty world with good characters and at least reasonable story, guess it's a nobuy then
>when it comes out tomorrow for PC
You mean when it came out two days ago?
try the demo if you like it, then go for it, but we're just warning you what you're getting into.
DLC doesn't work with it just yet. Gonna wait until it's confirmed to try the new changes.
Not that user but I put in 4 hours into the demo, sure the combat is weird but it’s fun and I like the character interactions
The new content did nothing to make the game better. It's literally just more shit to the shitpile.
Just pirate it man.
As a fucking around game i found XV pretty comforting. Doing hunts, fishing, checking out the photos, finding the occasional optional dungeon, the off-road car also helped a lo in that regard
A shame about the side quests though, they're pretty fucking bad
You have really shit taste in video games. What else do you play?
The world is pretty small considering how big they said it would be, and the characters are really bad. The story is unreasonably bad if that's what you're looking for.
Also if you're OP, I want to say that as a fan of MGS I loathed how MGSV turned out but it was still a significantly better game than FFXV. I'm not really a FF fan since most of the games were bad, but the latest chapter doesn't even fit in that series in any way.
God Hand, Metroid Prime, Etrian Odyssey, Disgaea, Guilty Gear, Devil May Cry, Sonic, Yakuza, Ace Combat
>guess it's a nobuy then
PIRATE THIS CRAP
Mostly bad games, I see.
I actually just finished it yesterday. I have to say, I liked it, but many aspects rubbed me the wrong way. It's kinda weird, I know its mediocre, but liked it anyway.
Positives;
>Semi likable cast
>Battle system is fun even though it is extremely simple
>Magic feels powerful
>Cindys tits
>Story is better than any Enix FF
>looks pretty
Negatives;
>Chunks of story are cut, like really fucking important character development
>Magic system is shit
>No magic variety
>Late game bosses is QTE scripted fights that are impossible to lose if you have a brain
>Main character is an annoying little shit
>All weapons feel samy and fighting styles are barebones
>Endless car travel
>Repetitive sidequests
>No balance and everything is way too easy
>YOU CANT LAUNCH YOUR ENEMIES IN TO THE AIR
The last one is the biggest bullshit, since the battle mechanics are fucking perfect for it
I don't really know why I liked it. Maybe it's because 13 has nuked my standards and I'll enjoy anything that is a slight improvement over it or maybe it's my autism showing.
Shame, i hold them pretty dear in my heart
Oh, I played vanilla, btw
Gay ass boy band looking fruits.
