English isn't your first language, is it?

Also I owned a PS1 and N64 and never had a problem with either. N64 did Jew me for the power pack thing.

>N64 did Jew me for the power pack thing.
Which literally was only used for like two or three games total. Heck, Donkey Kong 64, which was one of the extremely few games that required it, even came bundled with it by default.

Perfect Dark was the only reason to have the pack, which was more than enough reason.

>How can you claim that PSX was a better console

>Much larger amount of great games whereas 64 had maybe a few dozen worth playing
>Discs allowed more memory than cartridges, which is why Final Fantasy went to Playstation
>multiplats were gutted on 64 because of cartridge storage
>Playstation had Metal Gear

>How can you claim that PSX was a better console then just beats me
It was a fault on earlier PlayStation models and more common if you got your PlayStation chipped.

>arger amount of great games

And ten times larger amount of shovelware.

I had to sell it all when i moved out of my parents house. i made over $3k but god i wish i haden't sold my castlevania games.
>£250 for symphony of the night
Yeah, fuck that.

I had to buy it for pic related.

It came prepackaged with Perfect Dark, which was pointless because even then the N64 couldn't handle it.

>psx

also i somehow forgot to list my genesis.
This is why i haven't tried to rebuy my older shit.

>puts cartridge in once and it works

Is VR to emulate being in a different room playing old games that nice?

C64 (it counts)
Tandy CGA (it counts)
Sega Master System
SNES
PS1
N64
Saturn
Xbox
Xbox 360
Xbone
(picked up a used Jaguar and games at a charity store too)

I would get serious ass sweats whenever it froze on the logo screen

Also, I had a "shared" Mega Drive (long story) and I had a Game Gear (biggest waste of Christmas begging in my life)

Why would you make a VR simulation of a console not working?

>no blowing mechanics

fucking DROPPED

Even if we look at the worthwhile games to play on both consoles (excluding ports) PlayStation STILL has more worthwhile exclusives.

I wasn't rich but I was lucky enough to own PlayStations (1&2) while my friends had Sega (Saturn & Dreamcast) and Nintendo (NES/SNES/64/GCN)
I also had a MegaDrive which I still have and play

In order of release or in order of which you owned? I'll do order of owned

MegaDrive (hand-me-down from older brother)
PlayStation Dual Shock (Christmas present since I was always playing my older brother's)
PlayStation 2 fat (bought myself with birthday money, motherboard died after a few years)
PlayStation 2 slim (surprise present)
GameBoy Advance (bought myself, but it broke -- wouldn't hold charge and batteries didn't work)
GameBoy Advance SP (present)
NES (gifted by cousin who was clearing attic, worked perfectly)
OG MegaDrive MegaCD + 32x (bought at a car-boot -- at this point I was old enough to buy and collect retro gaming stuff with my own money)
GameCube (bought at a car-boot)
Nintendo 64 (bought at a car-boot)
DreamCast (won an auction on eBay, had to buy 2 because it had a faulty power port)
MegaDrive II w/ MegaCD II (boxed, carboot -- lucky find)
XBOX 360 (bought new for like... 3, 360 exclusive games and something to play SFIV and Resident Evil 5 on)
SNES (bought from carboot)
Wii (hand me down from older brother, he got 2)
OG Xbox (bought for ports/sequels of DreamCast games)
Japanese MegaDrive (boxed, auction)
GameBoy Color (donated to at work since it was faulty and I fixed it)
PS3 Fat (gift, faulty fan and overheated -- shelved)
PS3 Slim (bought for Demon's Souls and Yakuza)
WonderSwan (eBay)
Neo Geo (eBay)
Net-Yaroze PS1 (always wanted one as a kid, includes both software cds)
PS4 (bought for Bloodborne)

Memories. Why are video games cancerous these days, bros? I will eventually run out of classics to play.

Also X360

>didn't wipe the disc
>didn't blow the cartridge
This feels all wrong.

Nostalgia. Why not? Amusing little features that add nothing are fun. Devs. are creatively bankrupt these days; people like you.

Had both. Playstation introduced me to Legacy of Kain at age of 7.

Stopped buying consoles after PS3 and moved on to PC.

>flipping it so it works
That brought back memories. I had the small version of the psone, after like 4 years it started to hang up at the opening screen so I had to put it sideways. Still, it was the most fun I had with games in my life. All Disney games were GOAT, had Spyro and Crash, MoH, Syphon Filter, Rayman, Dino Crisis. Man, what I would give to go back.

I still think those two MOH games on the ps1 are some of the best shooters ever made. So many things were done so well, and in some ways better or with more attention to detail than nowadays.
