ITT: Remasters/Remakes BETTER than their previous versions.

...

>n64 still has higher resolution

butcehred colour pallette

>Take away fog
>Saturate colors

That's not an improvement, that's a hack job

i like the misty look, it makes you feel like you're up higher then you are.
the bright colours make details stand out more and when the art is this shit its better not to draw attention to fine details

The remaster is ass, it doesn't have the same atmosphere
yes I'm that kind of fag, atmosphere was very important to me in AC1 and 2

shit thread op

top: breath of the wild on Switch

bottop: breath of the wild on PC

...

i dont know what it was with ubisoft and over brightening games on pc. brotherhood had the same issue. you can equalize the pc half the image and find there's a bunch of distant city detail its just covered by bright fog.

no such thing

Uncharted 1. You cannot refute this.

The fight with Navarro still sucks ass.

Most of uncharted 1 in general sucks ass compared to the other games

WHICH remaster
I have literally no idea how many versions it's on now

N64 was 320x240. 3DS is 400x240.
Even if the N64 had a higher res, the 3DS one automatically wins by not having that poor AA job.

two

Trash Creed has always been garbage.

This is the only image I could find but the game really looks better and runs better on PS4 than on Vita

butchered word

Now with image included

>colour
gtfo britbong

Gravity Rush/Daze? Shame about performance of sequel.

...

The sequel was like the original on the Vita, good looks but hard to process which results in perfomance problems

Still a very enjoyable game

I'm just fucking around, that's the 2011 skyrim. SSe couldn't come close to looking like that,

>Remaster
>Absolute shite LoD
>Fullbright for anything far
>Shadows are hard as rocks
Time paradoxes are weird

...

I fucking HATE the remake of this.

ruins the fucking game.

Applying shitty ENB doesn't count.

>update assets
>do so withouth following the artstyle and original design vision

Why would you ever do this.

...

I've heard such bad things about the Halo remakes, and is this all you guys were bitching about. I thought they fucked up the gameplay or other things. Side by side the two hardly look that different. Remakefags are the worst. they always so quick to bash any little thing and claim "muh artstyle"

did they use reshade?

...

>RUINED REEEEEEE
get fucked

>destroyed the art style
>wins

>literally just a reshade
BRAVO UBISOFT

>I thought they fucked up the gameplay or other things. Side by side the two hardly look that different.
How can you tell the differences in gameplay from side by side pictures?

there is a button to switch from remastered to original
and original turns at 60 fps

i came in the thread for this

>implying Gaylo had a distinct artstyle from the beginning

Nope, no implying here. Outright saying it.

this looks.. oddly familiar

Wasn't the remaster made by chinks? Maybe this is just what they think white people look like.

I always found fascinating how the pre rendered backgrounds rotate.
How did they do that?

SOTC, blind people and contrarian newfags need not apply.

WATCH OUT FOR THE GIANT CRAB!!!!

The gameplay should be identical, seeing as you can switch between the old and new graphics at a press of a button. There's a video on YouTube where this guy shows the first reveal of the Swarm in the old and new graphics. The new graphics completely overlooked the details and left you with a slightly green room with a few green drops on the floor, or something, where in the original you have the room filled with mysterious green goop and a room basically painted red with blood.

>newfags
kinda ironic since you never played the original

yikes

this, coming from someone who played a couple of hours of the original skyrim and considered it irredeemable filth, I have put nearly a hundred hours into vanilla skyrim remastered (pc of course), there's just something so appealing about the visuals

like the giant crab trophy?
