He violated millions

He violated millions

Is sexually assaulting someone really that heinous of a crime to justify basically mindwiping them to the point where their old selves are as good as dead?

The funny thing is it's implied plenty of the school sluts were willing to take the D, but he went apeshit because he specifically wanted Anne's blonde bimbo ass and not all the chink girls.

Id say so

Yes, actually.

To the extent he did, and including the fact they were all underaged? Yes.

Well lets not go too far, we all know theyre whores like all high school girls, but his actions werent correct either way

Shiho was actualy his first time

He looks like this Macedonian guy that I know

Is it wrong that I find him kinda sexy

No, I thought for sure he was a good feller too the first time I saw him. He looks so nice on his portraits.

I think what the Phantom Thieves where all about (in theory) was putting a halt to "criminals who didn't commit a crime", and not even considering the statutory and actual rape that Kamoshida is implied to have been guilty of, he was an asswipe that made people's life inherently miserable - something you can't put anyone in jail for.

This became even more evident in the small-time-"villains" in Mementos. And actually, the more they did it, the more it became apparent just how flawed their actions are, as they decide what is just and what isn't. Shame the game was written by literal 13-year-olds and the game never dared to really touch upon that.

the more they did it: the more the Phantom Thieves punished these supposed criminals based on their own sense of teenager-justice

But what Akechi said have them a pause. They talked about it and decided to accept that they are not heroes of justice but rather vigilantes. What they do still stop the crimes and potentially save people.

*gave them a pause

>their old self is a rapist, murderer or asshole criminal
as a criminologist the phantom thieves are doing what we fucking dream we could do

I have no sympathy for anyone he violated. The entire school and the parents knew what he was up to and chose to do nothing, the cowards deserved him.

By their own immature and one-dimensional sense of justice, yeah. Nothing about the ending felt bittersweet, or made you question yourself, it was literally just "good guys won, plot bends over backwards to send bad guy into jail."

Not saying the game HAD to be deeper than that, I just wish it did.

>breaking a students leg
>raping students on a semi regular basis
No, he deserved to be executed along with every adult who knew and chose to allow his evil to continue.

bismuth

What?

TO SAVE BILLIONS

When justice system is flawed and you see rapist walk free because inconclusive evidence, I wouldn't even think twice about mindraping him.

>Not just raping him

metal with a very recognizable edgy shape
in other words, edgiest metal

he is sexy tho!

And that should have been the theme of the game. How hard should a perpetrator be punished? How black and white are crimes really? What are the consequences of punishments? What if you have to keep stepping it up for worse crimes? Which crimes ARE worse, or less so, and why? What about the people depending on the one getting mindraped? What if all of society is based on these lies, and breaking these wheels of society one by one is destroying all of it? What if, when everyone is the villain, nobody is, and YOU are the problem?

But no, FRIENDSHIP™ and anime tiddies and smashing my teacher was more important!!!!!

society gets the criminals it deserves

Expecting "Crime and Punishment" from Persona game is little too much mate.
