nu-Sup Forums is far too young to know what this game is
i forgot all about this bitch wasnt her name Helga or some shit?
>tfw NOLF2 kate is sexy as fuck
but it is still great, maybe one should point them to it
based NOLF, I need to finish it asap, I left it on the rocket level and stopped playing I don't know why, hows NOLF 2 btw? I heard pretty good things about it.
Inge Wagner
>Jawohl, Frau Wagner!
the first is WAY better than the second, but I bought the second because I pirated the first
still great nevertheless
i havnt played this game since i was a kid my dad had a copy
i still remember the major twist when your partner turned out to be a double agent for.. whatever the evil group was called and he had some plastic surgery because they killed the real guy
NOLF 2 is pretty bad. Tiny levels that the game pads out by making you go back and forth in them repeatedly to fetch one thing or another, bulletsponge enemies, infinitely respawning enemies (doesn't matter if you kill them stealthily or not, they'll keep respawning), bland storytelling, Cate barely has any lines of dialogue, it's just not a good game.
you remember it right
part of the legend of this game
that and the airplane level
Metal Gear Solid did it first
Did it? Well, maybe I should finish Twin Snakes.
The Twin Snakes is a complete bastardization of Metal Gear Solid. I literally tried to play a new game of it a few days ago (broke out the GameCube while waiting for FFXV PC) and stopped playing immediately after the elevator in the intro.
Silicon Knights raped the OST and most cutscenes by their unapologetic Matrix obsession. I'm just remembering now how much they ruining Grey Fox's death scene by overriddling it with Matrix slow motion action sequences and techno music.
I doubt that since you seem to recognize the game.
H.A.R.M. iirc
fuck, the worst thing about NOLF 1 is how nitpicky the stealth is, adding infinty spawning enemies makes it even worse, but oh well, these games are very charming
that music thats some nostalgia

Im still waiting for a remaster. Since the game breaks above 60fps.
never ever sadly, the game's right are lost inside WB archive.
>Playing NOLF for like first time in 15 years tonight
>A little annoyed at the "stealth" system
>Not sure if I'm gonna carry it through to the end
>See this thread, now certainly will
Are there even any servers left for multiplayer on either game? I see it used Gamespy but sometimes people just host their own custom servers. Very fond memories of this online, would be fun to at least play a match one more time.
Both games are available online for free and patched at nolfrevival.tk now since who knows who has the copyright for it. I got NOLF 1 working by limiting it's framerate to 60 and enabling v-sync, otherwise the cutscenes were all way too fast. It even goes up to 4k resolution just fine, though the HUD and menus will be so ridiculously small.
