Why would V need to explain how he became evil when it was clear that the Bosses death was the main cause of it? The main tragedy of V is that we didn't get to see Zero become a villain which actually would have tied things somewhat together.

Dude has a meltdown and still insists on dying to the main party, but Venat joins him in death as a blessing on his role in his master plan. It's wonderful.
