Villain wants to destroy all life to end suffering

>villain wants to destroy humanity to protect nature
>Even though Humans are from Nature
Kerghan was right.
>villain has a better point than you do
its noble, but ultimately pointless. suffering is innate within all life, and destroying life would be the ultimate suffering, for no new life could be born
>speech: 100
>The villains are all about transcendence and living forever and the secrets of the universe and they want to know all this, some are good some are bad some are a mix; but the good ones don't ever want to organize, the bad ones tend to want to organize because they lust after power
>Villain is actually trying to save the world
>Never explains beyond "no I'm right you're wrong"
>villain knows that the 'heroes' would simply talk about all the 'evil' things he's done, not realizing he's doing it for their benefit
it would be a waste of breath
>villain is immortal and wants to die
>fucks over earth in an attempt to do so
>Hero wants to destroy all life to end suffering
Why do we live if only to suffer?
Is his punishment to live?
>ask villain about his motives
>"My reasons are far beyond your understanding, you would not understand."
>villain wants to wipe out crime by exterminating all life because only the living commit crimes
THE CRIME IS LIFE, THE SENTENCE IS DEATH!
>speech: 100
user, that's a 23 point speech attempt (and failure) at a speech 100 skill check.
>Ask villain why he does it?
>Gives an hour lecture on the benefits of villainy to local hero business and how it will create more jobs
>Protagonist becomes Batman
This fucking asshat has no clue how physics work.
Sounds like a chain smoker too.
stop posting illidan
>protag have justice sperger
>villain actually have a well thought out plan to make the world great again but because he did bad things he must die.
>villain gets a prequel game explaining why they became evil
>villain feels he can't atone for the atrocities he's committed and the tragedies he was powerless to stop
>wants to erase everything to hide his shame
just shut the fuck up and enjoy the rant
Maybe not killed, depending on the situation, but someone doing bad stuff regardless of intention should be stopped yes
>the reason is so goddamn dumb it hurts
>2017 + 1
>There are still dumb frog posters
I thought /r9k/ was your home.
>the prequel tells nothing about how he became evil and doesnt even actually feature him but a döppleganger brainwashed to think he's him
there is literally nothing wrong with killing millions to save billions
>suffering is innate within all life
>destroying life would be the ultimate suffering
no, in that's the extent of your argument then it would be the opposite of that
if you need to kill millions to save billions then those billions don't deserve to be saved
why not?
>Villain wants to destroy humanity to protect nature because of pollution
>Heroes prove they have a way to stop the pollution and fix everything to him
>Villain goes through with his plan anyway because he doesnt want to look stupid after going to so much trouble
life is suffering, but life is still life. everything being dead can't serve the living, because no one's alive. you kill everything and there is nothing but suffering left, even the dead can moan in pain
if life is suffering and it sucks so much then why doesnt everyone kill themselves saving the villain the need to do it for them?
>final boss is Mara
>Villian is wrong only because of things outside of his control
>villain has a flaw in his plan that could easily be worked around
>decides to fuck it all, destroy everything he built and kill himself instead
but user, don't you know?
Heresy is like a tree..
"""Villain"""
>misunderstood villain was the only one capable of preventing a world government and saving us all from complete shitskinifcation
>wasn't real communism
Wrong. It just means you're too lazy or incompetent to figure out how to kill thousands to save billions.
DID SOMEBODY SAID DESTROY ALL LIFE!?
I'm with OP, I'm sick of fighting Gnostic Satans. It's like there's too much relativity in the world so they're afraid to pick anything but the most invalid ridiculous philosophies for a villain. It's whatever though.
Villian wants to make murica better place by causing terrorism
This lol. I want more villains like Magus who completely join the main party the moment they realize the party is getting the job done better than they are.
>villain wants to destroy all life just because
*hero
Why would V need to explain how he became evil when it was clear that the Bosses death was the main cause of it? The main tragedy of V is that we didn't get to see Zero become a villain which actually would have tied things somewhat together.
Sometimes I wish someone would do this.
Dying alongside all of humanity doesn't seem to bad; returning to the void would be pretty painless.
>villain realizes he played an important but wounded part in the total reconciliation of all things, and in his moment of death thanks the main cast for being the other half of a complicated plan that's above all of them that saves the world
Love this shit. Like in FFXII how Vayne is an evil emperor but he was intentionally being used by the humanist god Venat in junction with the main cast to liberate the world from this evil godly control. Dude has a meltdown and still insists on dying to the main party, but Venat joins him in death as a blessing on his role in his master plan. It's wonderful.
>even the dead can moan in pain
the dead feel nothing
the dead experience nothing
B...but muh poetry
This, all sentient life would have the same failings as humans if they exist in the same entropic universe that gives rise to disparity - which leads to every human "moral" shortcoming.
a roundabout way to say that without life, there can be no joy. that's worse than anything
Can you actually fix it when all these abominations are sterile
but no suffering, there's just nothing
with life there will always be more suffering than joy
That's stupid.
I'd trade all my griefs and all my joys to have never experienced either.
Who are you who thinks they are too good to suffer life?
>ask villain for his motives
COMPLEX
O
M
P
L
E
X
Name 5 games that do this.
>tfw freedom from consciousness
i never said that
Name some villains that are reasonable and have points that are objectively morally grey and then say whether their game was good or not
...
>realize you and the villain both hate the same group of people
>the enemy of my enemy is my friend
>team up and kill everyone else
I'm just saying it's pretty selfish for a person to forsake life at large just because they feel it's unfair they experience displeasure. It's the most spergy thing in the world to be pissed that not everyone is as suicidal as you, and taking your desire for death out on others is autism.
she was literally chaotic evil
but joys are higher highs than sufferings lows, and a part of life is about that struggle to experience joy, tearing that away from anything is cruel
why? you'd rather not have experienced your favorite video game, your favorite song, just because you stubbed your toe a couple times, lost a job, aren't financially where you want to be? who's to say nothing sucks harder than anything we understand because we don't know true nothingness?
>villain decides that they will act as a scapegoat for evil so that all of humanity will come together to stop them
>they're not actually evil but know its for the benefit of everyone to ruin their life
t. brainlet
Farcry 4? It was okay, I guess.
>Villain and hero do the switcheroo in first chapter and the villain becomes the MC
>They do the switcheroo in the sequel
what was his motive?
She was though, she was butthurt she couldn't hang out with the sith cool kids anymore. The game never says that she's right it's up to you to decide, and a lot of people have come to the conclusion that she isn't really right about everything.
>villian wants to creat suffering as its the essence of life
>In the entire history of the existence of nature on the planet earth ecological situations changed
>From ages of cold temperatures to high oxygen levels to meteor strikes
>These caused a need for the individual species of the planet to either adapt to the new situation or to die out
>It's not the strongest species that survives but the one which can adapt the best to new situations
>Tigers, the biggest and strongest feline on earth are almost extinct while small, weak rats thrive in human settlements.
>Pandas have to artificially be kept alive while we have to cull foxes and racoons so they don't overpopulate because they can survive of the trash of human civilisation better than of the food of their original habitat.
>Somehow the existence of humans and the ecological changes they cause is considered a different thing for nature than the ice age many years ago..
Literally Blackwell Epiphany
>villain only wants to destroy MC's land to extend there homeland
Optionally
>they're so dumb in there execution, they just put everyone in danger
>you agree with the villains motives
Friendly reminder that Sargeras did nothing wrong
>villains motives don't matter anyways because they are grossly incompetent and defeated at every single turn by the main characters anyways
Honestly most video games and movies are about the importance of planning, practice, and keeping up the morale of your soldiers, because almost every 'villain' fails because they simply get steamrolled by the main party and betrayed by their own horrible team for abusing their staff.
literally Arcanum
Id be ok with destroying all life to end suffering.
Hi Lelouch, you're not a villain bro you're the hero of the story
How, though? By figuring out Super Mutant cloning before every one of them dies?
>mass effect 3 plot
>brainlets itt thinking that an antagonist is the same as a villain.
>villain becomes the villain after his friends abandoned him for doing what had to be done
>the villain wins
that sounds pretty damn retarded.
Literally Borderlands Pre-Sequel
How about
>million scientists and billion NEETS
That the plot of Gundam 00
In the end it helps but doesnt matters because the protag could've theoretically solved everything by himself
What game?
>he's never read Watchmen or the Sirens of Titan
the beginning of every mario game
I haven't read Sirens of Titan, but it was also retarded in Watchmen, it's only a temporary fix.
>villain gets away
>Villain can trick you into voting for his puppet
I'm not telling you shit you Stephen Universe fucker
