ignore Very Hard locks until you're lvl 11 and keep in mind that you won't be able to open all of them until lvl 16

It doesn't have to be even remotely precise, those circles you drew would work just fine. Hell you technically don't even have to draw a full god damn circle. A lock usually only moves about 75% of the way before you "pick" it and with the perk it's like 50%.

Well, I'd advise you to look for the point where the golden circle is the biggest, stick to that point when rotating.
Try to only lockpick very easy and easy, and use the training option when addressing the millers. After a while, the cursor won't spazz out any more and stay focused

Just do it like Morrowind, you click on the chest once to open it. You don't have enough lockpicking skill = you fail. You have enough lockpicking skill = you open it
