>too hardcore for casual Pokemon fans
>too casual for hardcore fighting game players
Who was this game aimed for? It barely even has any single player content outside a shitty arcade mode so it can't be for simple fighter fans. No wonder it bombed incredibly hard.
Too hardcore for casual Pokemon fans
It was aimed at fans of Pokemon and fighting games. Also furries.
>Fighting game
>Local multiplayer running efficiently requires two consoles
U fucking wot, Bamco?
>Also furries.
So Pokémon fans?
Now that online play is a thing companies don't feel the need to have to compensate for a lack of it with an engaging single player. Unfortunately Nintendo forgot that you need a functional online component first.
>Local multiplayer running efficiently requires two consoles
???
What's wrong with the online? Works great for me. Or is this another "Nintendo = bad at all times" post?
>Works great for me :)
This game makes me want to fuck fox ass and Im not even a furry. I'm scared.
It turns to 30fps on the Wii U version when playing locally, and it requires one player to use the gamepad, meaning that proper "local multiplayer" is actually just two consoles and two TVs really close to one another.
I have the Switch Version and I only need the console to play the local MP
The proper way to play it still requires two tvs and switch consoles. Single console local multiplayer is fine if you're playing casually though.
Is too hard to find someone with the damn game let alone find someone who plays competitively.
I'm no hardcore but at least I managed to complete all the leagues and max 7 characters, Now I'm learning Aegislash because is a blast.
>no locals for fighting games in my area at all
>have to drive 2 hours to the closest scene and would be a massive pain on the drive back
I just wanted to play Pokken and Under Night.
I mean, that's how it works in the arcades anyway
also how long until blastoise
>runs at 30fps
>shitty underpowered console
>but casuals aren't playing my fighting game
It’s just not my style, I prefer Soul Calibur to both it and Tekken, but it was still great
Yeah on the Wii U
That’s Wii U
Switch is 60 in all modes
>underpowered console
There's no need to be redundant.
>switch
read >>shitty underpowered console
Both of you are reddit-spacing btw.
How does that disprove what I said?
No, it's 60fps on one device with the Switch.
>>shitty underpowered console
Good enough to run the game at a stable 60fps in all modes.
a 760 can run everything at 60fps, even 120. That's like a decade old card.
But it launched in a state that guaranteed a community just wasn't going to form. All the FGCfags had moved on by the time the Switch version was out. Even with good sales it would never have the legs in the competitive community.
Please support her game please
It didn't bomb though.
didn't bomb and blastoise will undoubtedly renew interest in it
>Who was this game aimed for?
The people who wanted a Pokemon fighting game
It's okay for games to be aimed at a niche audience instead of trying to appeal to everyone (which is the problem with the industry today).
