Something about this game elicits a strong feeling of disgust in me and I'm not even sure why. I think it might be a combination of the 2DEEP4YOU themes, the awful character interactions, and the terrible furshit designs.

I had that impression at first too, but then I played it, and it's just a game about a bunch of kids (who happen to be shown as animals for whatever reason) just doing a slice of life thing, while the mc tries to solve a mystery.

I was expecting the writing to have tumblr written all over it, but it's actually relatively honest-sounding. They don't put in dumb maymays or references, it just seemed like natural conversation.

I wouldn't dare tell you how to spend your money, but it's at least worth a pirate to see if the fall/halloween aesthetic is up your alley.

It's a basic fucking concept, not hard at all to implement in a videogame. Just from that screenshot you can extrapolate that if they skimped out on something this simple then they likely did for more difficult stuff such as story or gameplay as well. Having played the "game" myself, I can also confidently state that they indeed didn't put any real work into making it good.

If I remember correctly, the toughest achievement is the one for getting ALL the doodles that requires like three playthroughs. The first hangout with Gregg can lead to three different doodles and you can get different ones for doing well or bad on the band practice songs. There's probably more like this that I'm forgetting.
