rayfa and her dynamic with wright was the best part of the game. she had so much potential and they threw her away like garbage to make room for forced apollo character development. what a waste.

To be fair, even without the Apollo stuff, I'd be surprised if Rayfa ever did anything significant outside of Khur'rain, since she's basically its queen now, and she was a princess during most of SoJ anyways.

That's wrong though, and I'd absolutely argue that she's a better character than Athena, and is overall handled better, for example.

The part where you play as Wright in 4-4 against Klavier is honesty one of my favourite moments in the entire series.

An Athena focused game would be good, but I'm not sure how well the dynamic would work since they still have to wrap up Apollo's story at the same time.

We've got too many fucking characters! After AA7 we're gonna need what every franchise needs, another fucking soft reboot. I've got an idea:

First idea that would be extremely stupid off the top of my head, getting rid of so many beloved characters, even if not necessarily for Sup Forums, among other things.

How so, specifically?

Athena's only good for her super stinky feet.

By completely destroying any ability I had to take the series seriously, ruining characters like Phoenix and Apollo, deciding to outright ignore shit the previous game set up, rehashing stuff the original trilogy did better, and leaving the entire mainline series so fucked up beyond any semblance of repair that the only fix at this point would be a timeskip 100 years into the future or a reboot
