Kingdom Hearts

Which game was the best? (and why is it KH2?)
also general Kingdom Hearts thread.

> I'm a gay faggot!!!
HAHA FUCK YOUUUU

What exactly is the Darkness and why does XIII cum buckets over it?

Only reason I made the thread. Other than to discuss, obviously.

KH2 is probably always gonna be my favorite. While the story was definitely more complex than it needed to be, the combat was right up my alley. KH2 continues to be the best ARPG in my eyes. ARPGs are a market that needs to be further explored. I hope KH3 is good, but odds are it won't overcome my nostalgia for the second game.

For no reason whatsoever, apparently. Most villains in KH are evil cause they just are, right?

I think that BBS is the game with the best story, but it doesn't really have anything else going for it. 1 has a pretty good story, and okay combat, overall average. 2 had the best combat but arguably the worst story (after Roxas). DDD was literally shit on a stick. Re:Com also sucks balls. Haven't played the rest, but I hear re:coded is good?

Goteem

Thanks. This is all I've ever wanted

Yeh

So what's you favorite game?

We need a Dark Souls world with its own keyblade next.

Not before Ubisoft gets in on that sweet corporate crossover pie.

This pleases my autism.

To point, I haven't played 1 front to back (a lot of front and the way back, need to finish) or the DS games at all. Can't quite feel like I can comment until I finish 1; its janky and often cramped but its still the turn of the century sandwhich the series still feels meant to be.

Tell that to the one patient enough to do five of them!

Chaos Theory but if I'm being a fag then mother 2

tfw no full court miracle world

Dope. I dig Mother 2 as well.

Yeah. The DDD world is really underwhelming.

That world would best benefit from the scope of kh3 worlds. By far my favorite 2d disney minus alice

One half of existence, essentially raw chaos. Order is derived from light, which forms into the shapes that make up the world and sentient beings. The light of a person's heart (soul) is susceptible to corruption, so people generally don't touch it or else they turn into monsters. Naturally this means the scientist villain and his platoon of idiots are fascinated by it, so they dove too deep and turned into monsters.

Also it later turns out that you need an appropriate amount of hearts without any darkness and hearts filled with darkness to create the ultimate sword-key that lets you open god's realm and become a god. And since the heroes aren't gonna meddle with the darkness, it's gotta be the villains that create the dark half of that equation.

So what on Earth is Maleficent going to pull in Kingdom Hearts 3? She's spent over a decade latching on to any plot devices she can, but I don't know how even Nomura can pull off a VR and Black Box sandwich. Should have just had her stand down at that point.

She's not seeking to interfere with Xehanort's plans, that'll just get her killed again. She's interested in Jiminy's journal and the Book of Prophecies instead now.
