They are great. Even 3, despite it being way harder than the last 2 games

I think they're great, I didn't like the direction 3 took but I haven't actually played it so who am I to judge?

3 is heavily focused on multiplayer. You pretty much need some friends or else you'll just be wishing you were playing co-op the entire time.

On Patapon 2, was there a way to keep the dances on the bottom screen without having to hold Select?

Patapon 3 was way too grindy, I even remember pooling hundreds of hours mastering all skills on it. Using plugins in my PSP to automate the commands then sleep overnight, it make things easier at least.
Too bad I've lost my save file.

Fuck I had a friend who would grind skills all day non stop. Using piekron and charge attacking dungeon doors over and over for the spear ba-ba-baboom skill.
I don't think he ever got it in the end.

Forget the buttons though it's been so long

Thats why I like 1 the best. 2 got the hero skills but I would rather grind for materials and weapons for the army than skills that takes hundreds of hours.

This is another one I was wondering about, personally (I made threads like this regarding Ape Escape and, recently, LittleBigPlanet). I've played a bit of 1, and liked it. That's all I've got, sadly, but they seem fun. I liked it more than Elite Beat and PaRappa, if that means anything.

Control units with battle drums, looks simple and childish, but has some very hardcore fights, and the craft system is pretty decent for what it is, the grinding is not as bad once you know what to do and where to go

My dream is to make a controller similar to the Donkey Kong bongos to play these games. Probably not as fun but I want to try.

Also, why the fuck hasn't Sony released these and LocoRoco for mobile. There's literally no other game more suited for mobile than these slices of heaven.

game is silky smooth and textures scale beautifully on ppsspp (on 2 and 3, havent tried the first game on it but i'm sure its the same)
