Is there a game that has a house that sprouts chicken legs? I swear like 3/4 years ago I remember seeing people posting about it and how it was a super scary quest in some RPG at the time. You helped out some chick and then came back and found out she was a witch? I was sure it was from Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt but was obviously disappointed when I finally got to the end of the game and nothing had happened.

Anyone know what I'm talking about? Pic semi related

No game in particular, but look up Baba Yaga

Huh, thanks for the advice, I will plug that into my search engine and see what comes up.

It's in the expansion of the newest Tomb Raider game.

From quest for glory 1

runescape

Hut of Baba Yaga stand still as can be.
With thy back to the forest and thy front facing me.

Um user... that wasn't a Sup Forums thread. Please to try to remember.
YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER OR YOU'LL NEVER WAKE UP

It's Baba Yaga DLC quest in Rise of the Tomb Raider. It's a hell of quest

There's one in the latest Tomb Rider. It's a massive plot point of a quesline.

I'd love to see a dark action/RPG based on slav myths and fairytales, featuring shit like Baba Yaga or Koschei the Immortal.

I can see why no one bothers with that, though. Literally no one knows about all that outside of our shithole of a country.

It's Runescape. There's one on Lunar Island with that exact quest line.

Considering baba yaga is the most famous slavic myth, I'm surprised she isn't in, or ripped off in, more games.

>that mission
fuck you for reminding me and ruining my good mood.

Wait, you mean there's more to slavs than Soviets and Red Army? No, that can't be right

Theres vodka, track suits, squatting and a nuu cheeki breeki v damki.

Bringing a girls father back to life ruins your good mood?

I r dum dum,
whats with the nuts and bolts?

cheeki breeki

Baba Yaga was in the firsts Lords of Shadows

Baba Yaga is fairly well known, but yeah most of your mythology isn't overly popular for whatever reason. I'll confess I first learned of Baba Yaga in the Hellboy comics.

So greek and norse mythology are the most popular and overused. What else is there in Slavic mythology apart from Baba Yaga and Koschei?

Kikimoras are Slavic, right?

There's Zmey Gorynych, which is basically a dragon with three heads. And then fuck knows how many lesser deities/monsters like Kikimoras.

Yes, but i don't remember they looks like anime girls

Recent development

In S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games you can check for any anomalies in your way by throwing bolts. Most of these slav stereotype memes stem from the series, so they wound up there along with the usual stuff.

I can't remember if Maximo

Hero's quest.

House of brown, now sit down.

I didn't like Koschei's portrayal in the first witcher, he looked like some arachnid. He's a very definition of humanoid lich.

Baba Yaga is in Mad Maze, but I wonder if any of you fags are old enough to remember that

That's because a lot of the mythology is shared between the Indo-European paganic religions.
Witcher devs simply accepted that if they went with everything unchanged, they'd just get a mostly Tolkien-ish setting with a few outliers and silly names.

ya, it was this one
