How are they going to revive Vergil for DMCV?
How are they going to revive Vergil for DMCV?
Considering Dante rode a motorcycle into hell in 2 he could probably just walk out.
They won't, because Nero is a thing and because DMCV will never happen
Nelo Angelo was just Vergil's spirit imprisoned in an armor, while his body was kept in cryostasis somewhere.
Breaking the armor made the spirit escape, but it couldn't return, instead floated free and helped his son awaken demonic powers.
Then Dante rode motorcycle into demon world, made one hell of a party, turned off the cryostasis and gave Vergil enough of a boost to rejoin his original body and come back.
There, it almost writes itself.
He was never dead in the first place
STOP IT STOP IT STOP IT STOP IT STOP IT STOP STOP STOP STOP IT'S GONNA HAPPEN JUST WAIT AND SEE IT'SGONNA HAPPEN
Nah. I'd prefer he didn't come back.
If he ABSOLUTELY HAD to come back, then I'd prefer that his physical body be destroyed so he can only exist in the Demon World, where he becomes a demon lord and no longer has any dealings in the human world.
The obvious one would be having him possess Nero, which DMC4 already sort of foreshadowed.
We're gonna get a sequel to DmC instead
no point, virgil DLC pretty much made it connect to DMC3 at least thats what i want to believe
dante fucks kat opens his shop she dies and fucks his brain up making him fun
Sequel to DMC2
He fights Dante in hell for fun and power
Bayonetta 3 maybe
Get some coffee, user, you are talking nonsense.
You'll play as Nero looking for answers about his parents/family and wondering about how he has demonic powers. He
goes to the demon world where it's revealed Vergil has been held there again after his defeat in DMC1.
I think you should be asking, “how do we revive DMC V
buy 10 copies of DMC HD Collection
>You'll play as Nero
say bye bye to the majority of the sales from established fans, fucking nobody wants to play as that faggot after waiting 10 years for a return to form
OPEN WORLD GAME WHERE YOU PLAY AS DANTE RUNNING HIS SHOP AND GET CALLS FROM CLIENTS TO HELP WITH THEIR DEMONIC SHIT SO YOU HOP ON YOUR BIKE AND HAUL ASS TO CLIENTS AND BEAT THINGS UP BUT ONCE IN A WHILE YOU GET WARPED INTO THE VORTEX WORLD OR A TOWER POPS OUT FROM THE GROUND AND THEN YOU HANG OUT WITH NERO AND TRISH AND LADY AND BAYONETTA AND ONE MISSION HAS YOU GO TO HELL BECAUSE VERGIL CALLED YOU AND THEN THEY BUST THEMSELVES OUT OF HELL AND EAT PIZZA
You have no idea how thirsty this fandom is, in fact some people that used to hate Nero had grown to like him after DmC disappointed them even more. Plus, you just know they will throw playable Dante and Vergil in the mix, either canon or a bonus.
>You have no idea how thirsty this fandom is,
Thirsty enough to lash out harder than ever before when theyve been waiting for the perfect game for ten years only to be greeted by more casualization and pandering to the "wider audience" over that loyal core fanbase
In Dmc3 which one campaign is easier on dmd mode? Dante or Vergil?
I've seen them lash out over literally any game in this series, they are just that kind of a fandom. With Itsuno as director I seriously doubt the gameplay would be that much different from 3 and 4.
>With Itsuno as director I seriously doubt the gameplay
If I wanted nothing but fucking combowank gameplay mechanics I could just save the money and keep playing 4, take the series back to its roots or fuck off because the core audience is the one youre supposed to be servicing. I want a DMC game where I dont need to list the "flaws" every time like a fuckton of the trash bosses and enemies in 3 or the completely franchise raping style of 4
Most of the core audience you speak of has moved on with their lives, DMC fandom is now almost entirely made of people who either started with DMC3 or don't have problems with it like you.
Vergil, hands down
his yamato/force edge combos with proper warps make you literally invincible, you don”t need to git as gud as you would with Dante
he also breaks through regular enemies’ defenses way easier.
Nero doesn't give a shit about his heritage or original family, though.
Because he most likely thought it was just two ordinary dumbasses that didn't want a kid, after his lineage turned out to be supernatural he might develop some curiosity.
You got a point, but the thing that is putting me off from trying Vergil on dmd is that on completion you get unlimited DT with Nelo Angelo form. And in that form you have 2 weapons, not 3 and u can make very few combos.Like you have 2 moves on the sword 2 moves on gauntlets or some shit like that, while Dante with unlimited DT changes into Sparda but he can do the same shit as before . But the cons of doing Dante on dmd is that you need to change his styles on almost every mission as some missions require tricker, other quicksilver etc.. and you don't need to do this with Vergil as he have only 1 style and you don't need to change anything,so idk really with which one to try..
I think what you mean to say is
>How are they ever gonna top this design for Vergil?
Because this DMC4SE design for him is so fucking good, it has everything about dmc3 Vergil, with some very nice little details splashed in here and there and a way better model, I can't get enough of it
The Nero that we follow throughout DMC4 doesn't seem to be the type to care about that shit, though. He's the type to go "The past is the past, who cares?" Beyond that, Nero's only interest in the supernatural is "Are there demons around? Better kill them."
I mean, he didn't even react when he learned that he was a descendant of Sparda. He gave no shit when he learned that he and Dante were probably related.
Can he be brought back in the first place? He seemed to actually die in DMC 1, and even if his soul was found in Hell after that it might be stuck there with no form or power forever.
You guys do realize that DMC V is basically confirmed to be at this year's e3 right? The amount of almost perfectly accurate leaks alongside Itsuno teasing his "new game's" dev progress on twitter pretty much confirm it.
Also if all the leaks are correct, Dante, nero, Virgil are all 100% playable and maybe Trish/lady as well.
Also, it might be a PS4 console exclusive since originally DMCV was supposed to be announced at PSX17 but sony wanted to bolster the lineup for next year's e3 after fan backlash from this '17 E3 being nothing new so delayed the reveal. It will release either late this year or early next year.
Why would Vergil need to be revived? He's been playable in two games and it wasn't relevant to the story in either of them. He's literally just a retread of Dante's and Nero's missions.
