Honestly, jut drop turn the clones into alts, add a Black shadow so Ganondorf can get a unique moveset, and I'd be okay with this.

Is 14 newcomers reasonably achieved again?

I really only want Dillon and the Black Shadow/new Ganondorf idea I see a lot

Custom moves get removed and clones receive their previosuly custom moves as regular ones.

This means Ganondorf now uses a sword and is still loosely based on his previous setup.

Melee got 14 newcomers
Brawl got 18 newcomers
Smash 4 got 21 newcomers

It could be perhaps that the total number of characters is too much for the game to handle, but adding 14 characters sounds reasonable, especially since some don't have to come with the base game, but with DLC.

I'd be extremely happy with this. The only iffy ones are Rayman and Crash but this is probably my favourite v roster.

The only character designed by a westerner to ever make it into Smash is Diddy Kong, yet I see people going nuts with all this Crash, Rayman, K.Rool, Dixie shit.

You need to calm your tits, we'd be lucky to even get one more western character.

Very nice, but I'd cut Lucina at least, just so the anti-FE autists calm down for a bit. Dillon's a good add too. Don't like Funky Kong tho- Dixie deserves a spot.

All I really care about for 5mash is that we get Platinums Star Fox designs

to be fair, lore wise Black Shadow is the big baddy, or equivalent to the big baddy of the series

I'm willing to bet the only one that will get in is Shovel Knight, so I think you're in the clear. I'd love to also see Doomguy and Jackfrost but don't see them as likely.

Marion + Rabbids did really well, and the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is coming to Switch.

Thats the Mini Kangaroo, the mascot of Nintendo's toy range from the early 70s- the 'Mini Game Series'. They were pretty successful, and the kangaroo would appear on every toy's casing.

Mini Kangaroo in Smash would be an amazing callback to Nintendo's pre-video game days. Its moveset would utilise random toys from Nintendo's Mini Game Series, as well as any other products they used to sell, such as cards from back when they made card decks.

Here's another clue showing you never played F-Zero. Black Shadow is just a puppet of Deathborn, the actual villain (although he doesn't appear often in the games)

Samurai Goroh is a much more obvious choice, even as a villian, since he appeared in almost all of the games as Falcon's direct nemesis.

this would be awesome, but I don't think we'll get over 70 characters.

True, point 1 is less of an issue, even though he did appeared in a couple of Kingdom Hearts games (Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories - GBA and Kingdom Hearts: reCoded - DS).
However, there's never been a fighter that's not an OG video game character and that, I believe, is the core point for Goku not appearing.

It helps Rayman's chances because he's the Ubisoft Mascot, if Ubisoft wanted one of their characters in Smash they'd definitely want their main mascot in, Rayman has a wider appeal

Also Rayman had 3 trophies in Smash and after the fake leak, fans have been very vocal about wanting him in Smash and I'm sure at least someone at Ubisoft heard about it

Also, being in a crossover with Mario doesn't guarantee you a place in Smash

You've clearly only know shit about GX and yet you're insulting other people not knowing anything about the series. Deathborn is only the big bad in GX. In the GBA games he's a minion of Black Shadow and barely part of the story. Pre-GX there was only Black Shadow and he's the king of an evil emperor. Just because they pull the "but there was an even more evil evil guy than him" shit in GX doesn't make him a minion.

I don't actually care if Black Shadow gets into Smash, but Deathborn would be a truly nonsensical choice.
