how do you deal with the fact that J-Stars Victory VS 2 will never be released? why didn't you buy Sup Forums? you could have saved this. You could be playing J-Stars Victory VS 2 right now which would be a lot better than Tekken 7 or FighterZ. You ruined the best (potential) 2x2 fighting game of all time

They failed the moment they dumped the Jump Ultimate Stars structure (with the koma and multiple variation of each character, alongside larger line up) and went for this.

it's not garbage. It's way better than a lot of fighting games like SF IV or Tekken 7. The battle is simple but has many options to explore. It's not a dude let's brawl game

It did get a sequel, One Piece Burning Blood. It actually fixed the core gameplay problems of J-Stars too. Shame it sold about eight copies since it was actually decent.

Not surprising, the single player content was just Marineford padded to hell and back. It even has characters from the time-skip up to Dressrosa and yet they just chose to have Marineford and nothing else.

Casuals want single player content. They don't wanna figure the intricacies of the game's mechanics.

The port is stellar, exactly as consoles, no bugs. Online was a mess though but thats because nobody was playing. As to why nobody was playing, read the above. Also overpriced DLC.

so the SP content was good but people don't want SP content? I was going to buy that but I believe Pirate Warriors 3 has more SP content

Musou games will always have more content in these cases, though said SP contents are trash imo, no exceptions for any Musou. They're the literal definition of rehashing but hey, they must be doing something right if people keep buying them.

Burning Blood SP content though, I finished it and I can say with absolute certainty it was underwhelming as all hell.

I think it took me about 10-15 hours, been years so I might be wrong and it might be a bit less or a bit more.

Also the last battles of the SP story mode are input-reading bullshit.
