Demon's Souls was the most creative one for sure, since it pioneered a bunch of completely new shit. Souls games that came after it are a bit derivative in terms of mechanics but the settings, lore and art direction are always top tier while remaining distinct from another.
I'm really looking forward to the next FromSoftware game and this completely "weird" game that they are making since it'll be a change to do something completely new instead of rehashing the souls formula. Fuck any retard who wishes it to be Bloodborne 2 though, Souls games are getting stale and the well they've been drawing from feels to be running a little dry after Dark Souls 3. Miyazaki and the FromSoftware team needs to create something new and let the dark fantasy ideas build up a while.
