It's more like what if Minecraft had objectives and a purpose.

Furthermore, the room system in brilliant.

I was off work for a couple days last year (long weekend) after having some dental work done and I played through it. Really enjoyed it, super comfy, lots of stuff to explore and discover.

been enjoying myself with it this weekend. I would get it

I hate Minecraft yet loved DQB

I also started it and I must say I really enjoy. It has that DQ feel and look that is always refreshing and adorable.
The crafting is intuitive, simple and easy to get into.
You unlock new craft by doing quests, talking to NPC or simply by collecting material which is very nice.
And the charts always tell you what you need and how much of it.
Plus the world is really easy to navigate and memorize.

Like other user said, it’s the cooler Minecraft but with a story and objectives.

If you enjoy MC and DQ, or simply DQ, you should check it out. For me it was a pleasant surprise and the switch is perfect for that kind of game

It's not tho. Look at the fucking game, it's not technically impressive and the next one barely improves graphically. If you don't know what you are talking about just shut the fuck up.

it's not needed to have roofs. and with the way the village is setup you're more inclined to build upward then outward

you can build roofs if you want to tho.

It just seems like the building is not very easy to do if you want to build upward.

it's a bit getting used to the R and L function during building but it makes it really easy for building your stairs. and with the walls needing to be 2 high only that can be done on 1 level

If they give weapons a bit more reach and make NPCs use doors properly, DQ Builders 2 will be like fucking crack cocaine for me.

It's very nice and """comfy""""" buzzword, the objectives can be boring though so you should mix it up by having fun building and upgrading the town. I can't wait for 2 so I can play with my friends.

Minecraft runs on literally anything; voxel terrains aren't hardware straining.

So it's a bit like 3D Terraria then?
