So you guys hyped for the new KH 3 trailer dropping next month? I still can't believe KH 3 is releasing this year. Still feels unreal. The "KH 3 is never coming out" meme is one of the oldest vidya game memes of all time and it's no longer relevant. End of an era

BASED
how are you so fast?
What would Sora, Donald and Goofy appear as in this world?
KH3 has some problems to work out.
I need him in there.
Nazis
But then Indy would kill them!!!
Pretty fucking excited, honestly. 2017 was pretty good and 2018 is shaping up to be fucking great.
I am gonna miss my DDD frogsquad, though.
I'm doing my very first level 1 critical mode in KH 2 FM and I'm stuck on Demyx. I can't beat that fucker. I am so close to just dropping this run. Fucking shit I haven't raged this hard
B A S E D
Probably not that different, but I hope that you get to whack Nazis on an airship with a Sean Connery impersonator spouting lines. Damn it Indyposter.
>Inb4 Indy poster is also OP.
"KH3 never" was a meme because people wanted a KH2 sequel. This isn't that, this is BBS 2.0 with a new coat of paint.
How you go die in a fire. KH 3 is looking way better than KH 2. And KH 2 is my favorite game of all time
user pls
not in gameplay
The gameplay is KH 2 FM on steroids
>Twilight Town is glorious HD filled with NPCs
My dick is getting hard just thinking about it
>BBS 2.0
Having BBS mechanics like shotlock doesn't make it BBS, retard. You'd have to have garbage like the Command Deck and D-Links for that.
>BUT THE LINKS IN THE TRAILER
They're called Links, but they are not D-Links. We know this already.
never cease to amaze, based indianaposter
>Populated Twilight Town
>possibly a populated Traverse Town
>A FULLY FLESHED OUT, POPULATED DESTINY ISLANDS
I'm so fucking ready.
It all looks so on the rails and scripted and cinematic.
>Nu-Square Enix
Oh right.
Will FF characters ever be in the series again? Why did Nomura get rid of them? The selling point was Disney x FF. Why get rid of half of the selling point? Hell even Disney seems to have taken a backseat for all the OC characters and balls deep insane story
How did he get rid of them?
I have no doubt Noctis and Lightning will be in it.
>Why get rid of half of the selling point?
FF was never half the selling point for the handheld entries, and handheld entries are all we've gotten for the last 12 years. They were always a big part of the console titles so I'd be surprised if they aren't in KH3.
Do you guys think Daybreak town is going to appear in some realm of sleep shenanigans?
>Go to the underworld, start the NEW HADES CUP
>reach final round
>suddenly somnus start playing
>Noctis appears with Phantom Swords spinning around him
>Fight him
>He is the best, most well designed secret boss fight in the kh series
>His fighting style is essentially what Noctis would play like in XV under Nomura
>"Alright Sora, you proved yourself. I will lend you my power. It will be me Versus XIII Xehanorts"
>You unlock him as a summon and his entry in the journal has all of the Versus XIII story in detail.
>He also gives you the "Stella's rapier" keyblade.
Nomura pls.
The last "new" FF character to appear in the series was Zack in BBS and he was the only FF character to appear. Cloud appears in Re:Coded and he's the only FF character to appear as well. There hasn't been a FF character in the series since
Side games have drastically different priorities .. I wouldn't take that as an indication that they won't be in KH3. Lightning/Noctis are shoo-ins and Nomura said they're considering another Sephiroth fight already.
I hope.
>Fight Ira's shadow
>Mix of strong physical offense and long-range light magic
>Fight Aced's shadow
>Extremely strong close-range fighting, constantly in your face with no room to breathe or dodge
>Fight Gula's shadow
>Extremely fast battle, hard to pin him down
>Fight Invi's shadow
>Constant stream of powerful magics and she stays away from you
>Fight Ava's shadow
>She clones herself multiple times to attack you from different directions at once
>Luxu himself is a bonus boss
Best design Nomura has ever made. Prove me wrong
FOR ANYBODY WHO DOESN'T UNDERSTAND THE STORY AND WANT TO GET CAUGHT UP ON THE STORY WATCH THIS VIDEO
youtube.com
Perfectly sums up the series in a little over 30 minutes
Found a better version
youtu.be
So all the confirmed deaths in the series are
Sterlitzia
Riku Replica
Ienzo's parents
That's it right?
Clayton, Ursula, everyone in the Keyblade War but the protagonist
>Ursula
Nope
Demyx is one of the hardest parts of the LV1 run
All I can say is good luck
Shit how could I forget everybody who was killed in the Keyblade War. Literally thousands died
Your definition of sequel is highly subjective
I only need to see the thumbnail to know this video is shit and either incomplete/incorrect.
The only true video for a KH crash course is the GameTrailers Timeline, which was written with the help of staff from KHInsider, among others.
youtube.com
It's correct and comprehensive up to DDD.
How about you actually watch the video dumbass. The video is a perfect summary that gets down to point and easy to follow
>Xehanort says the Keyblade War was fought over the light and the χ-Blade was made at the peak of that war, to control Kingdom Hearts
>The war was actually fought over rising tensions between the Unions and the Foretellers whose hearts had become clouded by darkness and no longer trusted each other
>Nowhere is it hinted that anyone was scheming to make the χ-Blade, nor do any of the Foretellers ever consider it
>The closest to it is Gula, who says he wants to gather Lux to call forth Kingdom Hearts to recall their Master to help them sort out their differences
So where did the χ-Blade come from? How did Xehanort learn of this information, and how did it get associated with the war?
In a post-2.8 interview, Nomura confirmed that the Master of Masters is aware of the χ-blade.
Probably going to become relevant in the Uχ story
So are Ansem and Xemnas alive? They die in KH 1 and KH 2 but they're here now. I get that time travel is involved but I thought they returned back to their own time at the end of DDD so that would mean they'e dead. So how are they in KH 3? I'm so fucking confused
But was he aware of it beforehand, or did he learn of its existence by watching Vanitas make it through the eyes in No Name and Void Gear, thus trying to make it himself and letting Xehanort eventually learn of its existence, creating an ontological paradox where the information cyclically emerged from nowhere?
The chiblade was a byproduct of the war for lux, not the cause. Only MoM knew it would be created because he'd already seen the future.
The χ-blade is the physical counterpart to Kingdom Hearts so it has to exist somewhere, at some point, in order to have been shattered and cause Kingdom Hearts to be swallowed by darkness.
The state of the World pre- and post-χ era is proof of the truth in that legend.
Who’s going to some sophisticated entertainment this summer?
>youtube.com
Nobody wants to watch your video game video bro.
You're going to die with 0 views.
Why doesn't Xehahort just use time-travel shenanigans to get 13 actual copies of himself rather than incomplete versions?
Who's going? Nomura is going to be there which guarantees we're getting a new trailer
aren’t the tickets over $100?
If we get another Final Fantasy character in the game, I really want it to be Kefka.
Cecil and Jecht would be good picks too though.
What if the Uχ player is an unknowing Dream Eater sifting through and consuming the bad dreams of the χ player, and never actually existed in the real world?
>I really want it to be Kefka.
Wait what is this?
Depends on the seats
At my venue, the cheap seats were about $50
>The "KH 3 is never coming out" meme is one of the oldest vidya game memes
How to spot a child
Well, Kefka as zanny as he is would make for a great KH villain.
I'd actually have him do something like collaborate with Maleficent and then give him a few scenes playing thestraight man to Pete's endless buffonery.
Considering video games are less than half a century old and this one's been going for nigh-on a decade, he's not necessarily wrong
fucking based
KHUχ had a Final Fantasy Record Keeper crossover event, and featured Warrior of Light costumes, and Kefka and Gilgamesh appeared as Heartless to fight.
But the average KH fan is in his 20s at this point. I'm fucking 24 bro.
Why did no one warn me how hard CoM is, fucking Ansem II took at least 40 tries. Makes his KH1 fight look like a joke.
Based Indiana poster.
Aqua a shit
Im gonna be literally shaking when I'm holding a game called Kingdom Hearts 3 in my hand
Well it'll never happen because the game is called Kingdom Hearts III
Wasnt as old as Duke nukem forever
So will Sephiroth appear as a secret boss again?
>So you guys hyped for the new KH3 trailer dropping next month?
There's no guarantee of that. Nomura went to monaco magic last year and he only showed screenshots
>finds kairi
>"oh hey kairi glad you're safe"
>finds riku
>"ITS RIKU HES ACTUALLY HERE"
>drops to his knees and cries like a bitch while clutching rikus hand
i will only be excited when there is a playable build of the game at expo's
>drops to his knees and cries like a bitch
He did the same thing earlier in the game begging saix to take him to kairi
he knew where kairi was and she was safe for like two years
he has been looking for riku since the start of chain of memories
>brainlets in charge of understanding context
>I still can't believe KH 3 is releasing this year
I know man. I was 11 when I played KH2. I've wanted to see what happens next or the finale for so long. I like the spin offs we've gotten but I never stopped waiting on KH3.
he should care for riku more than kairi, what is so confuing about that
he's been with iku since he was a aby probably and kairi is just some wierd girl who showed up on their island
He thought Riku was fucking dead, or worse, lost forever in the realm of darkness because death means jack shit. He knew where Kairi was because Saix told him the Org had captured her.
I hope KHIII is the last numbered title 'cause boy oh boy am I real fuckin' sick of the "when's KHIII" meme and I really don't want "when's KH4" and "when's KH5"
When asked, Nomura was unsure. He acknowledges it was a series tradition to have him as a boss in the numbered titles, but he felt that fighting him again might be boring
If you’re older than 14 and 1/2 you should definitely feel embarrassed for posting this
>14 and 1/2
Awfully specific, user
well aren't you a wise ass
have 1 upvote my good sir
The series is almost 18 years old and has 6 installments not including cinematic stretched into short movies.
Favorite Keyblade, go. Ocean's Rage need not apply.
>KH2 is my favorite game of all time
I was going to poke fun, but instead I’ll just ask you what KH2 has done that is so exemplary that it justifies being your #1.
>6 installments
KHIII will be the 10th, not counting Final Mixes, remakes, HD remasters or Uχ/χBC
And Nomura’s right. We don’t need Sephiroth for a third time . I want all new shit in KH 3. No more Radiant Garden FF gang, No Sephiroth, No Cloud. They’ve been done to death already
I want you to read what you just wrote and justify to yourself why nobody will ever respect you.
Best action RPG of all time. And I should have said KH 2 Final Mix. It’s the most fun I ever had playing a game. It’s a masterpiece
Spirits consuming past nightmares and memories, whether the dreamer likes it or not, is literally the entire plot of Uχ.
>just get rid of established characters who have a place in the story because I'm bored of them
Stupid
I paid over $127.50 because 15 minutes in when the tickets were live because all the cheap ($54) and all the mid seats ($74) were all sold out
Based cockblock from Hamilton poster
Don’t mind me, worst keyblade passing through
If the bees were just facing the other way it's be a 10/10
>look

Two Become One
Can we do a Sup Forums sings of the Kingdom Hearts 3 song when it comes out?
