2 is so much better, but 1 ain't bad. If you HAVE to buy a cabinet MAKE SURE YOU GET IT FOR AS CHEAP AS POSSIBLE AND THAT YOU KNOW HOW TO REPAIR IT BECAUSE ARCADE MACHINES BREAK DOWN ALL THE TIME.

Don't do it unless you're a MASSIVE fan of the game and have plenty of spare cash.
The cost of maintenance and upkeep is fucking insane, I spent a little over 10k in upkeep last year alone on 15 machines. You will lose a considerable amount of money on any cabinet you buy and they're as good as scrap if you don't keep them in good working and original condition.
You're typically buying something that's been absolutely thrashed for the better part of 20 years and parts are becoming insanely hard and expensive to find.

A few years ago some old man was giving away a bunch of machines for free. I never got one cause I was too lazy to haul one out. Only now do I realize that giving away a bunch of arcade machines for free was a bit suspect. Those things are probably slightly busted, SCPs, or the old man hates those things.

Oh and just another side note, be VERY careful with transportation/buying/selling.
LOTS of buyers/sellers will try to absolutely fuck you by either selling you damaged machines, or claiming you sold them damaged machines, both will typically blame it on transport.
In a lot of cases you'll be dealing the most degenerate of neckbeards so document everything, serial numbers, videos, pictures etc and be very selective and particular with transportation, if you can do it personally as people are much less likely to pull that sort of shit in person.
I've had faggots try to return cabinets after they'd part swapped out good for PCB's for cooked ones etc and if I hadn't been so fucking anal with recording serial numbers Paypal would have happily fucked me.
