It's an issue that can't be visually seen unless you're looking at the screen, if you took a screenshot they would look the same to someone else.

It's either something with dpi scaling or other issues but having to disable fullscreen optimization is the only way to fix it

Windows 7 EOL is January 14th, 2020.
So it would be more accurate to say a little over a year and a half left for Windows 7.
Microsoft is racing into the future and dropping 'legacy' components that they don't want people using anymore (like win32 software, and things not from the store in general) as fast as they can.
Its a good thing that GNU/Linux and Wine are as mature as they are already. Most people aren't taking this nearly seriously enough.

Is DX11 support complete yet?
DXVK has I think hit feature complete for D3D11.0, D3D11.1 support just started. It also just got some major performance updates that should fix some of the dips it had previously from having to recompile shaders every time.
If you're unaware, DXVK is a dll that you can make Windows games use which makes them use a alternate D3D11 stack written on top of Vulkan.
Its a much better solution than the old fashioned slow D3D11->OpenGL wrapper Wine uses by default.

Install it, then go to recovery, roll back the update, you'll go back before the one that made it inevitable. Never update again.

they do a 1:1 copy of your partition/disk to a new one, to use the new one just like the original
