Defeat the systemd cancer - install lubuntu 14.04 today

so the solution all along to have a light, responsive, stable system that can look good, be customizeble, easy to use and secured was to just install lubuntu 14.04, the last before systemd cancer took over.

its pretty good senpai. only around 500-700MB ram WITH firefox running (firefox 290MB, web content 280MB)

how come firefox is so lightning fast and this system is so snappy too senpai?

looks like ill join the free team and probably do some nice themes and icons for lubuntu on photoshop, still gotta dual boot for that

but other than photoshop this is fucking nice.

the only problem is making firefox use less space on the top which will be solved.

>subjecting yourself to outdated software
>he thinks firefox will run differently depending on the init system (system management tools) that are used
>he most likely doesn't even know anything about systemd, but jumped on the hate wagon to appear knowledgeable and to have an edgy opinion about something technology related
>themes for "lubuntu", which doesn't even exist, because it uses GTK themes

Embarrassing.

What benefits are there to systemd at all?

Cheap ripoff.

i dont know whats so outdated about it senpai...
its an LTS release so there are still updates, besides if its working good what are updates needed for if you can secure it yourself?

should we update windows 10 from 7 cause its magically better or we gonna get viruses?

and yes, firefox uses a lot less ram here on lubuntu compared to windows 7 and the whole lubuntu uses a lot less ram to run.

Dumb anime poster

dumb dumb animeposter poster

Firefox is fucking shit. Ubuntu mate 15.10 here, 5 tabs open in midori and my system is only on 900MB ram usage.

OP, you're a fucking idiot.

why does bloatfox use that much?

firefox IS shit, ill probably change
but youre the fucking idiot for using systemd cancer and amazon cancer (hurr i can disable it yea sure you can kill yourself)

>systemd is cancer
Nice meme

>amazon botnet
Cool meme

You did it, you're a Sup Forums tard, congrats user! Don't stop posting those dank memes son

>RAM is the only thing affecting responsiveness
>not realizing that unused RAM is wasted RAM

Just stop.

retarded 5 year olds.
do you want to use your cpu 99% of time?

win7 doesnt even fill my 6gb of ram yet its lagging as shit.
programs that take a gig of ram tend to lag shit up because they are garbage.

but it will be end its support on the next year user.

cpu!=ram senpai

What are you specific complaints about systemd, anime shitter?

he probably has a million hours invested in 300-line init scripts

should probably get a real os

I can't remove it. If it was a choice I wouldn't care.

It's too complicated.

I want to save my RAM for demanding tasks like compiling or rendering something.

He doesn't. That would be a legitimate complaint, but he doesn't even have that.

>do you want to use your cpu 99% of time?
I would like to use my cpu 100% of the time.

it can be removed
