Also, do you have friends? Friends have friends and that's how you get to know new people casually. Also, work with other people on something or go to events where people might discuss the event afterwards and introduce each other. When people share an experience, they won't feel like they just walked up to a random stranger. It feels more natural talking to a girl after attending the same lecture or a concert.

I think you are right, but if she is too good for me to even answer whether she is single or not, I do not think she would have done anything with me anyway.
