Installing Linux distros is no longer giving me the high I desire. At first I started with Xubuntu and when I installed it I got a rush, when that wasn't enough I moved to Arch and after installing it from the command line my brain was flooded with dopamine, it was great. However Arch is no longer giving me that craving. So I moved to BSD. I started with BSD and boy, installing it was unlike anything I've ever experienced before. Once finished I ran Screenfetch and just seeing that logo, which most people don't have, I was there.
After BSD what should I move onto? Gentoo? The more lines of code flashing on my monitor the better.

LFS is the final boss of Linux distributions, I love it.

OP here, where do I download the ISO live cD?
Jayden Collins
if you can't find that out by yourself..
Nicholas Bailey
LFS is different. You install a host distribution like Debian and build the entire thing from scratch, compiling a base system. It's pretty cool.

I don't feel comfortable running a mail server on my home network. Nor do I feel like setting it up.

i never understood why people change their linux distro every week. ive been using linux mint and xubuntu for several years now. and ive never changed.
they do everything i want.
how can a lot of people here on Sup Forums switch so frequently? isnt it such a hassle changing all the time? how do you get any work completed?
Jordan Baker
>isnt it such a hassle changing all the time?
not so much if you have a separate /home partition
Logan Parker
What about all your configuration shit in /etc
David Long
Gentoo. You'll literally never switch.
