Be using linux

>be using linux
>think screenshot is simple like in windows
>just press PrtScr
>nope.png
>it's Alt + PrtScr + O

What the fuck?
Who the fuck thought Alt + PrtScr + O was fucking better than just pressing PrtScr?

You know, that's why nobody uses Linux. Honestly I don't understand why you freetards have to make everything fucking complicated.

What DE are you using. On xfce its just print screen. At least it is on my xubuntu install.

Same on Gnome

i've set mine up with just print screen

test

Same on cinnamon

>installs special snowflake distro
>surprised when it does things different to everyone else

what? i just pres sprnt scrn... an di can even upload it to imgur without browser do windows etc.

use xfce4-screenshooter ya dingus

>having to switch de just to do something basic as print screen
lmao. I'm sticking to windows. It's no wonder nobody wants to use your nerd shit.

Windows NT can't even take screenshots.

you're already using XFCE, your distro changed it for some reason

>not using scrot -d

the fuck are you even talking about?
hell you have to open a 3rd party just to do it on windows

Are you retarded? It's alt+print+L almost everywhere

bindsym --release Print exec --no-startup-id scrot ~/%Y-%m-%d-%H.%M.%S_screenshot.png && notify-send -a "screenshot" "screenshot saved"

>having to open the terminal to take a screenshot
>run a race against time to minimize the terminal for the screenshot
kek

>Nerd shit
>On technology board on the shittiest website on the internet

Check your Pictures folder
At least in gnome, prtscr saves the screenshot to pictures automatically

It's not a problem to open dmenu and type 'scrot' command when you're using i3

Same on KDE

>i am a hacker!
the post.

>use debian
>fn + prtscr

It's just fucking one more second spend on doing ss

that's probably the fault of your keyboard putting the prtscr key as a secondary function

CMD + Shift + 3 Screenshot of whole screen
CMD + Shift + 4 partial Screenshot of screen
Both commands automatically output an image.

--> Mac master race

gnome master race

Something like xbindkeys is available in any GNU/Linux distro. Learn to read, user.
t. fuck off to Sup Forumssqt/

>Alt + PrtScr + O
wtf I pressed this my system just crashed? running linux mint 17

you have magic sysrq keys enabled
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magic_SysRq_key
>Shut off the system o

FINALLY

Your bantz are kekworthy. I will file this key command under "emergncy porn related panic shutdown".

Bad troll, bad troll

i don't get it. why make a screenshot command the same as the one that shuts your fucking system down?

you're not a very smart one, are you?

op was trying to trick people into hard-shutdown their machines

>taking Internet that seriously

Just re-bind it.

>I don't want to switcg DE, too much work
>I don't even want to change a single keyboard shortcut
>changing my operating system entirely is ok though
Go back to Windows.
