Should I buy a Vornado or is there a better brand/model?

I really prefer noctua

Whatever costco has, and 10 of em, It helps with the EEEEEEEEE from /k/ related accidents too.
>THIS IS FOX NEWS AND WE ARE REPORTING ON A POLAR VORTEX DETECTED IN THIS WITHERED OLD WOMANS BASEMENT.

For general use, not for a PC you motherfucking autist.

>tfw GPU hits 79ºC
>tfw CPU hits 65ºC
>tfw coolant hits 42ºC
>tfw when room without windows

Just pump that shit in my room and cook me for 20 minutes.

Zing

Box fans. $20/each or less. Put one facing in, and one facing out on the other side of the house. Run when cool outside, close windows and shades when not cool out.

>Summer peak CPU temps 50c
>GPU peak 65, custom profile etc STRIX.
Now it's getting colder, I will enjoy my 15c Deltas on CPU, thank you very much.

Does your room not have access to an adjourning room with windows?
If so, set up a fan at the doorway.

my Vornado is excellent, had it for 15 years or so and couldn't be happier

Its like you want to die by fan death

how noisy are these?

Do these really work or is it just a gimmick?

>not having mobile air conditioner

>all these faggots without aircon

get air conditioners, retards

Dyson is more energy efficient and oscillates. I have owned both vornado and dyson AMs. I think the dysons are much better, but not cost effective. I have yet to try the new vornado DC motor fans with variable speed.

They're too loud and have no comfy mode.

Dyson are just Apple of the vacuum world familam

Is there anything one can buy to minimize the dust in a room?

What is the best silent fan

noctua

Get rid of carpets and don't jump on your bed if you have any in the same room as your PC.

AirCons are not common in mid-northern European countries where it only really gets warm like 20 days a year.

I have central AC in my home, gets fucking cold as hell. My room heats up a little faster, and sometimes gets hot.

I have 2 computers, and a Snake in here. Would this help keep the temp of the room down?

Personally I prefer A/C but if you're looking for a fan there's a lot more brands out there with different price options, as you can see here

Fans only make your room hotter.

I bought a Vornado fan from Best Buy, it was like $80 on sale. The highest setting is a bit noisy but it does one thing well: moving air from one room or floor to another (stairwell in the latter case). I put it in another bedroom from the upstairs and use it to push cooler air from an adjacent bedroom into my office (The thermostat is in the master bedroom, and does not trip easily as the airflow tends to get stuck in the office). Worthwhile, IMO.

It is very powerful as a fan but a mini tower fan (like, about a foot tall) is easily placed on the surface of your desk and gets the cool air on your face/upper body if you don't have AC.

That's a worm user, not a snake.
