blogs.technet.microsoft.com/windowsitpro/2016/05/17/simplifying-updates-for-windows-7-and-8-1/
You only need this update beforehand support.microsoft.com/kb/3020369
Good if you have a fresh install
Great if you slipstream these it to your Windows 7 SP1 ISO.

>now with telemetry, aka botnet, included for your easy convenience, also ours, cuz its not removable, fuck you SELL YOUR SOUL

I think you should be able to remove whichever update you want after you install that package.

Arigato Microsoft-dono

No, you're not.

>Don't check what's in the updates goy, just install this great update rollup! :^)

We'll find out shortly, I have a fresh installation of win7 going right now.

Well then you can simply use Simplix update pack. Although I doubt that's the case.

is there an up-to-date list of windows 7 spy-updates to avoid?

...

>Abril
BUILD WALL
or is that portugese but whatever, english only USA

>updating windows 7

Sorry, my P was posted upside down by mistake.

Yes

wow, like hostile much???

Pretty sure there is some new spyware included that's not in any official list.

All of them. Those "windows security updates" are just a meme.

Waiting on this user to report back.
Does it include KB3035583, the notification for windows 10?
And, if its the case, can you uninstall just that individually?

I'd like to know this too

>Does this rollout update include all the Windows 10 nagware? Because if it does it is of no use.
>No, the convenience rollup does not contain the “Get Windows 10″ updates. (Those updates are primarily for end users; this convenience rollup is intended for IT pros in organizations that want to create Windows 7 images faster.)

and in finlan, the nigger was kicking a dog and attacking it's owner, a young woman
hmm?

retard

so what no one cares you white knight faggot

Jesus Christ, thank God they finally fucking made this.

Windows Update is a worthless piece of shit that takes hours to finish if it even works at all. No wonder all of you faggots use Linux; updates don't take millennia to finish.

It takes a good amount of time using an SSD too. I've not had to do all those updates on a HDD in a while, I bet it's brutal.

>Abril
spuurdo

>Abril
Pajeesh please
Also how convenient that that update contains telemetry and windows 10 installer, isn't it?

>MIGROSOFDD ;DDDDDD

Finding the updates took around 3 hours from my experience.
That's not counting downloading and installing

MOOR TELEMEGRY POR WINGDOGS

Any word on if we can uninstall certain updates?

THANGS MASDER

Obviously, you cannot uninstall anything same like with service pack. Otherwise there would be no sense to make cumulative update, which will separately install over 200 smaller updates and will take ridiculous amount of time to do so.

Even if it has all the nagware i'd just run aegis and go about my business. This is great.

I use WSUS Offline, if you're reloading Win 7/Vista/8 this is the way to go.

GOTTA GET DAT GWX ON EVERY COMPUTER

I reinstalled Windows 7 a few months ago and I haven't installed any updates on it yet, I don't want telemetry or any of microsofts botnet garbage, would SP2 be safe for me to install? The only reason I even consider updating is for security holes.

what security holes are present in sp1 that aren't in sp2?

more importantly does it contain any of the following telemetry updates which can currently be uninstalled individually

pastebin.com/Lgnh9bpy

see applies to 7 & 8.1

Microsoft only noticed this was a problem now?

...

don't flip your keyboard over when you type dummy

Well then I assume it has the gwx bullshit in it?

Should I avoid using this over sp1 or just roll on with sp2 and edit the registry?

dood. are you still live?

This. I've got SP1 non updated and it's a perfect OS.

Haven't had time.

Sorry folks. Had to go to work, on lunch now.

The laptop in question was shipped with win10 and is a god damn toshiba, so i'm having to play hell getting the drivers to work let alone any fucking thing else.

Near as I can tell though, there is NO win10 bull shit in this patcher mass updater.

Are there any serious reasons to update W7 SP1? Any really nasty bug or security hole that needs to be patched?

btw, I'm talking about my single user, home desktop Sup Forums & torrent leecher machine.

Does it have the include the one that bricks your PC if you have an Asus mobo?

>Microsoft Update Catalog
Nice try Pajeet.

Well I need sp1 to get rid of somesome error messages from using to the latest amd drivers and to launch the new doom (couldn't get it to work so refunded day one) and I was convenient since Ms made sp1 on a single isolated download for my fresh windows 7.

SP2 contains telemetry. It does not contain the Get Windows 10 shit.

Is that pastebin for a bat-file?

Lol @ Abril. It must be hard to write when your native language just jumps on the page unannounced!

Noone?

I thought they said no SP2 for Win7 and people were bitching that the recursive (this is why we don't hire CS majors) update function took forever. Since when does Microsoft listen to people?

Even worse: Apple.

People in 2016 are getting tricked into "lma0 my iPhone and iMac unhackable from FBI, I'm secure", when in 2 years Apple will say "fug, they don't let us finish building new Apple campus if we don't gib personal info :DDD But it's against terror. And iSlam".
Apple is like the most largest honeypot ever created.

So if you want security, only BSD or Linux are left.
If you want gombuta in easy and easily rektable way, go for Windoge and Applel, but your family tree will go extinct eventually.

I'll keep installing a cracked and outdated w7 for my clients, thank you very much

You're a terrible person and should be sued for willfully putting your clients at risk

>And iSlam

Whats the safest way to roll back to Windows 7?

I have a computer that came updated with Windows 10 from 7?

>to download the rollup you need to install an ActiveX applet
>in the Year of our Lord 2016
is this an elaborate ruse?

You can click on the link, it won't hurt. Just run it as an administrator and it'll nuke updates.

forum.oszone.net/thread-257198.html

That's still the best way to create an updated installation ISO (actually create the install.wim file which needs to be replaced on a new ISO).

Been using that update pack for years, still works without any issues, latest one was just a few days ago and after creation and installation I only had to get like 5 updates - if you use that rollup thing Microsoft put out it's from April and you end up grabbing 51 updates.

Nice try, Microsoft, still not going for it.

Yeah it's sad. Because Linux fucking sucks.

simple button click if 30 days ... you are fug

nice try rusky

How do you download this shit? Fucking Microsoft.

Its actually better to slipstream the updates on the iso so you don't waste time after installing it.
Just ust IE user, just once, for this shit.
